Ocean's Pov:
I'm sitting on my bedroom floor, rolls of wrapping paper scattered around my room, mostly different purple themed ones; Connie's favourite colour!
I'm wrapping her birthday presents in advance, well like a week in advance.. It doesn't hurt to be prepared!! For her birthday, I've gotten Connie more things than past years as it's our first year being officially girlfriends!!
The first thing I wrap is a beautiful necklace, with a little golden heart pendant to match the one I wear myself. She's complimented it multiple times, mine being silver, so I decided to get her one to match me! The second thing is a beautiful knee length purple dress, with little white hearts scattered all over it. It's beautiful on its own, but I just know it'll look even more beautiful on her! The last present is a fuzzy plushie bunny, to go with the rest of the stuffed toys she collects! I find it cute how dedicated she is to her collection, I make sure to get her a plushie every birthday and Christmas, like I've done since we met!
Once I've finished wrapping, I put each present carefully into a gift bag, making sure not to rip any wrapping paper. I hear my phone buzz from across the room, so I get up and grab it, checking to see a new message:
"Connie <3"
sugarcloud_: Hey Oce! I know it's early, but can I come over?
Ocean123: Of course my love! Is everything okay?
sugarcloud_: Yeah, just miss you <33 Plus we gotta plan the picnic!
Ocean123: Oh yeah I forgot about that! Come over whenever you like <3
sugarcloud_: Ok!!! I'll be there in 5 :D
I quickly put my phone down, rushing around my room to hide the evidence of her present. Just as I'm putting the gift bag carefully into my closet, I hear a knock on my door. I run downstairs, double checking everything is hidden before I go and let my girlfriend in.
"Hi Oce!" I see Connie's cheery face smiling back at me, her hair beautifully curly, framing her face perfectly.
"Hi my love!" I reply, quickly kissing her on the cheek before leading her up to my room. Luckily my parents are out on some "spiritual healing trip", so I don't have to worry about them interrupting.
We sit down on my bed, cuddling up next to each other as she scrolls through Pinterest on her phone, looking for inspiration for the picnic.
"Ooo that looks pretty!" I point to a picture of a little picnic under a tree, fairy lights have been hung in the lower branches.
"Perfect! I have some fairy lights in my bedroom that we can use! Also I've got this great idea about what we can do for food." Connie agrees, sitting up to face me.
"So we could ask everyone from the choir to each bring something nice, along with us two bringing some extras in case not everyone can make something!" She suggests, smiling widely at me.
"That sounds amazing! I'll text the choir!" I reply, pulling my phone out of my pocket to text the choir.
