~ "Misch?" ~

Noel's Pov

Finally, school was over! I couldn't wait to hang out with the rest of the choir, it had been ages since the last time we all actually did something together. All that was left to do is to ask Mischa if he'd come, after all, he had arrived at the choir room after I had already asked everyone else.

I caught Mischa outside of the school gates, and tapped his shoulder, he jumped slightly, which kind of caught me off guard, he wasn't usually on edge at all.

"Hey Misch! Uhm, would you like to maybe stop round mine tonight? My mom is out and I already asked the rest of the choir before you showed up, I was wondering if you would like to join us for a movie?" I asked, kind of muddling up my words into one, gosh why am I so nervous? Its not like we haven't hung out before..

"Oh, that sounds like good idea, yes I will join you." He replies, staring back at me. He seems.. off? Im probably just overthinking things, I'll make sure to keep an eye on him though. (Not like you won't already Noel ehem..!)

The rest of the choir catch up to us, as we start to head towards my house. Its not a long walk from school, its pretty close actually. After 5 minutes, we arrive to my house, I hear a couple "ooo"s and "woahh"s as we head up my porch. I admit, my house is beautiful. My mom, like me, is a big fan on making everything we own seem like a work of art, including the house, its tall and white with stained glass windows, and dozens of rose bushes all around, adding a beautiful pop of colour!

As I usher the rest of the choir inside, I look over to the last person to go in; Mischa. He's typing frantically on his phone, probably talking to Talia. Yet, he seems slightly frustrated, I wonder what's wrong with him? Eh, its none of my business anyways. He puts his phone away and hurries inside, as I close the door behind us both.

"Okay guys, so uh, this is my living room.." I fail at an attempt to act like a chauffeur, getting a few giggles out of Penny and Connie, Ocean just looks at me and rolls her eyes with a smile. Ocean and me have seemed to stop hating eachother as much after the accident, I mean, I know we said nothing is gonna change, but she just doesn't seem as annoying. Yes I still want to rip her hair out sometimes but a little less than before!!!

We all sit down around my couch, not all of us can fit so Ocean and Connie sit next to eachother on the floor, and Penny sits on the red armchair that I pushed up closer to the couch so she doesn't feel left out. After all, that's the last thing we want for her at the minute, we need to all start paying more attention to her than we did before the accident, we were all kinda jerks leaving her out sometimes. Well, all except Ricky, he always seemed to have a special liking for Penny! (Spacedolls cannon when 🔥🔥)

This leaves me and Mischa to sit next to eachother on the couch, he seems kind of hesitant about it, not in a rude way, just... Well im not sure. He is really acting strange, on the other hand im not complaining about having to sit next to him, just another excuse to hold his hand during any scary movies;)

"So.. what should we do?" Asks Ocean, oh shit I zoned out- I already have an idea planned!

"Okay so I was thinking, seeing as we have all the time in the wooorld" I put an emphasis on the word "world" again getting a small giggle from Connie, im glad she's her usual cheerful self, its what we all love about her! "I was thinking we could each pick a movie, and watch them all back to back!" I see Ocean's eyes light up at this, she had been telling me about this movie she watched on the day of the fair, I think it was called "Scott Pilgrim" or something, probably just a nerdy documentary.

We each pick a movie, I obviously pick Chicago, it's the BEST musical in all of history, nobody can prove me otherwise. We decide to watch that first, as it's my house.
