🐺

"Chris" she called, talking directly to his ear against the music. He felt the air in his lungs leave his body as soon as her soft voice reached his ear, sending a shiver down Chan's spine.

"Yeah?" he hummed, well aware of the little distance between them. They are almost sharing the same air, heads tilted just slightly in opposite directions but still too close. Alice didn't seem concerned, though.

"We should have asked what they would have liked to drink!" she whined, and wow, does she need to have her mouth touching the cartilage of his ear? Does she need to have a hand on his shoulder, moving him closer? Does HE need to wrap an arm around her waist and al- WAIT WHAT. They are that close right now, and for what?

"Uhm," Chan hummed, his voice vibrating on his lowest register, "Nothing too strong and quite sweet, and they should be fine," he said, and maybe it was because she did it first, by now his lips are definitely too close to the shell of her ear, accidentally moving her hair aside to do so. Her breath hitched. He could swear. He's about to say that in front of a judge, if he needs to. Worse, he could say that in front of JYP and add a really honest "and it felt great!". Chan was practically holding her against himself, her body molding to him as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

"So y'all can drink?" she asked, and fuck, Chan hadn't realized how he had draped her even closer, and now they are like chest to chest, not looking in each other's eyes but feeling each other's warmth and talking to each other's ears. How... this is even more sudden than his wet dreams. And yes, he can tell he's the guilty one for dragging them closer, as her hand is just placed on his chest on the hoodie while his arm is wrapped around her.

"I believe nobody would recognize us here uhm uhm" he said, and since when is he out of breath? His hood had fallen, but he still had his cap on, and he felt her hand on the hair of his nape and-

"Good," she said, and she takes air - he can hear it! - when a voice caught their attention.

"ALICE!"

"Hi Juan!" she said enthusiastically, suddenly parting away from him to face the bartender, turning her whole body to him, and Chan did the same, feeling like he had just been electrocuted. Now that they are not as close as before, he feels a little cold where once they were touching. Shit.

"What can I do for you? And your friend?" he asked, eyeing him, looking him up and down, and he had never felt so scrutinized, not even when he did his audition at JYPE.

"Can you do some light, fruity cocktails, peach-flavoured? Five of them, actually, Beck and the others are in the bathroom, so take your time, and when I say light, i actually mean it, Juan" she said to the smiling man, and Chan is there, next to her, looking useless as the Juan guy's eyes darted between him and Alice in curiosity.

"Peachy? Sure! Make sure to say hi to Meredith tho, or she's never gonna stop blaming me, you know," he replied with a charming smile, and Alice easily nodded to him, handing him something that looked like a debit card. He easily took it and moved away, and Chan immediately jolted on his spot.

"Wait, let me pay for it!" he blurted out, and she laughed it out.

"Yeah, sure" she replied, and Chan frowned at her, even though he couldn't help but smile softly at her.

"No, really! You don't-"

"You are my guests, dumbass, don't worry, yeah?" she said, smiling and placing a hand on his shoulder again. Chan froze, mouth parted, unconsciously smiling back at her.
