If I move this section later on the track, and I switch the tempo, maybe it's-ah, yeah, uhm, something is still missing. I need a sample, maybe something catchy... No, not that, eh eh... I wonder what she's doing... uhm, focus Chris, come on. What's missing here? There's something missing. It's the lyrics? Nah. Well. Uhm. I can't be too explicit, stay still ask about Red Lights, I can't do it again. Not on the album. Uhm. Maybe I should call her. Just to know how she's doing! If she's having fun. Maybe it's too soon? Fuck, Chris! WORK.

Chan sighed. Something tingled around his neck. He threw his arms in the air, stirring the aching muscles of his back, the dull pain on his lower half was the ghost of his last night actions. Well, it is not like he's complaining.

"Are you working on that one again?" Jisung's voice reached him even through his headphones. Chan shook his head lightly, setting the headphones around his neck and breathing through his teeth just for a second.

"Yeah..." he sighed. "I think I'm coming up with the lyrics, but I'm not convinced yet," he explained, turning around on his swivel chair. Jisung was still on the couch with his own laptop on his legs and a multitude of papers scattered all around him - Jisung prefers to write his ideas with ink rather than on the iPhone.

Changbin had left them around 5 minutes earlier to go fetch some coffee (and some hot chocolate for Chan, cause somehow he felt like he needed some), so they had been in a peaceful silent until now, too busy with their own tasks.

"Oh." Jisung blinks behind his glasses. "You did? What's like?"

Chan looked around. Uh, how do I explain this?

"It's... toxic?"

Jisung blinked again. A little surprised smirk started to form on the corner of his lips.

"Toxic? Ah... Uhm!" The smirk on Jisung's face quickly turned into a full laugh behind his hand, showing that at least he had the decency to try to cover it.

"Uh?! What?" Chan asked, touching one of his reddening ears and ducking his head down. It takes a while before Jisung is able to talk clearly.

"N-nothing, hyung, but it's a weird coincidence," he explained, removing his glasses to rub his eyes. Chan's mind glitched for a few moments, not sure how to really read that. He lifted his head, knowing that his embarrassment must be all over his face.

"Coincidence? What coincidence?"

"Yeah, what coincidence?" Changbin asked as he entered the room, a cardboard cupholder in hand. He hands Jisung his Iced Americano, while the latter is already smirking mischievously.

"Chan-hyung is writing a toxic song," he said before Chan could even try to stop him. Oh, shit. Changbin's head flipped towards him with a delighted, amused face.

"Ooooh, our Channie got some game, and now he can't stop thinking about it, uh?" he teased in a high-pitched voice, and if Chan hadn't snatched his hot cocoa from his hands and hidden his face behind the cup, he would have probably already been melting on the floor.

"Uuuhh, it's not like thaaaat, I wrote this before... all of this!" he lied, you know, like he could even try to.

"Yeah? Okay okay, then let us hear it." Changbin challenged, and Chan couldn't help the bubbles of giggling that rose up from inside his chest. Because even if he feels extremely embarrassed by all the teasing, these are his friends, and he wouldn't change them for anything in the world.

"No, no no, it's not done yet. Let's keep working, forget about it."

"Aaah, you are so cute when you get shy~" Changbin tugs on Chan's lobe as he walks behind him to get to his chair.
