I'm updating on vacation so anyone reading any of my stories, you can tell I feel guilty for not really updating a lot. I've really busy so this is throughout road trips and sleepovers.

Tris' pov
There's a girl here that I recognized from a couple years ago from when Christina took me to Candor on a tour and to meet her family. We got into an argument and her sentence was when she was of age she was not allowed to choose Candor despite her aptitude test. She got a punishment because she was file guilty for assault. Not sexual or anything, she kind of just tackled me after she didn't win an argument. She had to be Divergent. Candor don't usually have that kind of gut.

I look up at the dirty, almost beige walls and ceiling, which might have been white a long time ago. I wonder about the stories within these walls. Who died? Who sacrificed them self to let someone have a not as miserable life? It's something that someone could think of for hours. I sit up and look at Tobias sleeping on his side. He looks so happy when he's sleeping unlike when he's awake. He usually has either a pissed off face or a "Tough Guy" face. But he smiles when he's with the people he loves.

I get up and gather everything we need because we leave to Candor today. Hopefully all my friends made it out in time. I know that Christina is always welcome in Candor so if she made it out she would obviously go there. With her long legs she had to get out. Not like she even had that much weight to carry around yet.

♥♥Time Lapse♥♥

We're about to head out but we wait for Taylor to say goodbye to her Mother. At least I'll probably see mine soon. I just need my parents. Sometimes, you just need to be their little princess. I know that saying bye is always hard, but I feel like someday, Taylor will see Evelyn again. Just like how I've seen my mom multiple times after the choosing ceremony despite, "Faction Before Blood".

I grab Tobias's left hand and Taylor grabs his right. The group walks out and so do we.

Candor isn't far from here. Maybe two blocks away. It'll be safer there and we'll have more sources to rely off of. Food, running water, clean clothes, medics to check us for wounds. They're no Erudites but some transferred into Candor from Erudite. They all have a amateur knowledge in medics. So that works, I guess.

We walk for about ten minutes but  all of a sudden we're surrounded by a bunch of young people, and Eric, pointing guns at us.

"Look, those few days ago was a misunderstanding. We had a Factionless sneak in. The guy was like 18-" He cuts himself off and turns to look at the people behind him." Soldiers, put your guns down already, didn't you see me put down mine? Jesus." He turns back to us." Okay so we've been looking for you guys by the request of most of the students and a few of your friends. So you can come back now."

"You're kidding? Right?" I ask. Damn. So we left for pretty much nothing. Wow, go me! I can't believe this.

"No. Now you can come back and live your normal, full life, or you can go live in Factionless."

"Guys, what are we waiting for? He said we could go back!" Says a smiling Caroline.

"Tobias, what about me?" Taylor says, obviously not wanting to go back. She wants to experience the new world. I understand her perfectly. It didn't even take five words for me to understand her.

"Who's she?" Eric asks.

"My sister." Tobias says quietly. "She grew up Factionless. No one told her she could be part of the choosing ceremony, but I can tell that she'd fit in well in Dauntless. let her start off with the train. We didn't really start initiation really. Only the train and the building."

"Fine. How old is she?"

"I'm 17 actually 18 in a couple days, and you could've just asked me personally. I have the ability to speak, if you didn't know."

"Well, Whatever your name is," He steps close enough to her that their shoes are touching,"I think you'll fit right into Dauntless. Just learn to tell the difference between disrespect, and bravery."

"Well, I think I might already be able to tell the difference." She says with a smug smile.

"Oh really?" Eric says with the same smile.

"Yes. One is standing up for what you believe in and the other is just not treating someone how they should be treated. If you had any respect for me, you would've asked for my age. By the way, the name's Taylor."

"Eric and, well played." They shake hands with the smiles from earlier still upon their faces. I think Christina is going to have to make another ship name. A ship name for people that are about 6 years apart in age.

hello, everyone! Don't be grossed out by the thought of Taylor and Eric. At least don't be grossed out by the age gap. if Gigi Hadid can date Joe Jonas, then Taylor can date Eric. Boom. The idea of them together kind of just clicked while I was writing. Sorry about not updating for a while you know the usual, but I'll try to update soon. the next game of dare will be like either next chapter or the one after that. Trust me that once school starts I'll feel more productive and update more. i felt really lazy this Summer. Most of the character belong to Veronica Roth but not all.
