17 part 2

Tris

After I shower I sluggishly get dressed and brush my hair. When I'm getting ready to leave I see a note from Tobias on the coffee table that reads:

                I'll meet you at the net at around 4:20pm. I went out with Zeke to buy stuff.

Well, I guess I'll see him in a few hours then, I think to myself. I make my way to the cafe and grab a large, chocolate and blueberry muffin from the table Christina, Will, Uriah, Mar, and Lynn are sitting at. I place myself between Lynn and Uriah, nibbling at my muffin.

"I was planning on eating that, Soon-To-Be-Mrs.Eaton" Marlene says from across the table. Everyone looks at me in shock. No one at this table but Mar knew. For a moment I can't think of how Marlene knows that, but then I remember that she works at the jewlers and that I have my ring on. I blush a bright red.

"Tris, why didn't you tell me he proposed?" She asks trying to keep her sanity.

I smirk and say, "Because he didn't propose. I did." The moment I say those words her jaw drops and she turns a bright red. 

"That's even more of a reason to tell me, Tris" She says angrily.

"In my defense, I wanted it to be a secret. He was even more shocked than you guys when I asked him. So, we've only been engaged since last night. It's only been a few hours, to translate it into, "Calm Christina".

"Fine." She mutters loud enough for me to hear. We eat for a while and Uriah brings up that all of us are engaged so it shouldn't be such a big deal if they didn't know about the proposal.

The girls go to my apartment for the rest of the morning and we play "Never Have I Ever". Little did I know that Lynn and I are the only ones with virginity. Well, I don't know that for sure, maybe Shauna's a virgin. but I don't really think so. After I said, "Never have I ver had sex." Christina reminded me of the time before we played dare the first time how she was joking about being pregnant.

I reponded, "Never scare me like that again okay?"

"Sorry Tris, but I'm actually pregnant this time" She said with a sad smile.

CLIFFY YASSSSS im really sorry about the short update and not updating in forever, but I just did this in 20 minutes of my free time. Exam week started on Monday and my parents are pushing me to bring up my grades however I can. I'll really try to update soon. If I don't update in the next week comment or private messege me. bye everyone!
