Tris pov.

"Time to jump!" Screams an overly excited Lynn. I hate her so much right now.

I wait last to jump, with Tobias just in front of me. Both of us with hearts beating at rapid speeds. I don't think I can do this. They might yell at me. Or maybe they won't and Dad doesn't want anything to do with me. It's not like he visited me on Visting Day. Only Mom did. Maybe she's going to be the only one that cares.

I can do this! I don't have anything in me that proves me as Candor. This should be a piece of Dauntless cake.

"Um, Tris, where's your house?" Asks Will, finally speaking up. He obviously can't tell the difference between any of the houses other than the zip code. But each house is actually different by size. Some roofs are lower than others. Those who don't have kids get a 1 floor house and those who do have two floors. The maximum is 3 children living in the given household. No more than three. If you have quadruplets they give the extra child to a family that can't have children.

"It's this one right over here" I say pointing to the small house in front of us. "You're going to hide behind the house. The walls are really thin, so it'll be easy to hear the 'action'. Um, Four, you're coming with me. The rest of you, keep your damn mouths shut. We'll hear you and the it'll blow our cover. Got it?"

They all nod their heads in response. If someone messes this up they're getting it bad. The dare will embarrass them so much.

Tobias and I walk to knock on the door but it opens before I even get the chance to knock. And in front of me stands my dad. This can't be any good.

"Hello, may I help you?" He says.

"It's me Beatrice and this is my boyfriend, Four. Is Mom home? I have some important news for you two."

"Sure, anything for a former family member." Says Dad. Former. He sees me as a detachment.

Tobias and I sit on the plain gray couch in the living room.

"Well, we came to tell you that I'm.. I'm.. Pregnant!" I fake sob into Tobias' shoulder.

Mom says, "Beatrice it's okay. You can come to me whenever you need help." She lightly rubs her hand up and down my back. I pinch myself to the point that actual tears start running down my cheeks. It hurts so much!

My dad though, he looks really scary right now. If I weren't Dauntless I would definitely be showing my fear. But I am Dauntless. I know how to deal with fear.Plus, I aint Candor so I can act my way through this.

I start laughing instead of crying since they're buying it. But apparently it's not that obvious so I turn my head to my mom to they could see my face.

"Beatrice? Why are you smiling?" Asks my dad in a deadly tone. It only makes me laugh more.

"We're playing dare with our friends and my dare was to tell you that I was pregnant. But if I ever do come to you saying this news for real it's going to be in a few years. So relax. I'm not planning on losing my virginity for a long time."

"Beatrice I'm very disappointed in you. Don't come to us with that kind of news again if it's a joke." Mom says.

"I make no promises. And if you were wondering, yes we are actually dating."

I hear a slight sneeze coming from the kitchen. Or at least from that direction. Great. Those idiots didn't listen to me.

"Beatrice. What was that?"

"One of my friends being an idiot. They ar every bad at keeping under cover. By the way, I'm sure if I had let Caleb to me he would've to me to say hello to you for him." I say.

They stare at me with wide eyes wondering why I would see Caleb. Or how. I'm not sure.

"Well Mr. and Mrs. Prior we have to get going now." Says Tobias.

I shake hands with my parents and leave with Tobias hand in hand.

"Which one of you smart asses sneezed?!" Yells Tobias. Everyone points to Will and I say," Will, good luck with your dare. I dare you to".......

A/n srry bout the delay! It kept deleting my draft and it was annoying. My iPod can b more annoying than a teenage girl from Amity! I'm dead serious. It messes up the updates. Bie my peoples I ain't the owner of Divergent. Veronice Roth owns the characters.
