Mak's pov

We run out of Dauntless really fast and I'm exteremly scared about what's happening. Gunshots. Gunshots heard and seen all over Dauntless. One even grazed my side. It's a bit more difficult to get around now. Tobias pretty much had to half carry me to his apartment. I don't understand why people had to add drama into Dauntless. Initiates are fresh off the boat mostly from their old faction. They decided to just accept some of the Dauntless borns that they knew would probably pass so they could focus on the real competition. Thank you, Tris.

I gain enough energy to get on the train, but land on my stomach which hurts like hell. Landing on the train like that hurt a lot partially because of my open wound but partially because I threw myself much harder than needed. I have much more strength than I expected. Hmm, interesting. I take a deep breath and scoot so I can lean against the wall. I wince but try to ignore the pain.

Tris seems to take notice in my injury and walks over to me. "I'm not going to ask if you're okay, because obviously, you're not. But, I can see? I might be able to help you." She says with a small smile.

I only hesitate for a second before lifting up my shirt just enough for her to see. Damn, I think. That's a lot more blood than I thought I would bleed. I almost faint at the sight of it but I'd much prefer to be concious on this train. Wouldn't want any shooters on here while I'm passed out!

Tris' pov

She's been bleeding too much. She could black out soon or just become very tired. I'm not sure, but my mother gave me a lesson on hospitalizing teeneagers and adults and this amount of blood being lost isn't safe.

"Tobias, take off your shirt. Like right now." I say, turning to him. He gives me a wierd, questioning, look.

"Just do it! I need it!" I yell. He sighs and slips it off in one simple movement. Swift and simple. He hands it to me and I start to clean the area. The blood ran down Mak's side a lot so I have to clean her skin there too. Problem: It already started drying.

"You might find this a little bit disgusting, Mak, but it'll help me help you." I tell her like how a proper nurse might say.

She nods her head and I lick the shirt a little and start rubbinging it on her skin.It starts to clear up after a minute or so of doing this. Caroline looks at me with horror. I don't think she understands that I'm doing this to save her friend's damn life. Bonnie looks guilty. Christina showed me how to look for if someone's hididng somthing and Ms. Bennette is doing just that.

"Bonnie, do you know how to help her?" I ask, turning to face her.

"Yes. I-I just-- you can't tell anyone how I do this okay?" She says. Everyone in the train car nods. It's only the few of us so we all nod.

She walks over to Mak and places her hand on the wound. A few soft words exit her mouth and slowly, the wind takes the blood away and mitosis takes over for the skin at a rapid speed allowing Mak to heal in 15 seconds.

All I can manage to say is, " Whoa..."
