"So care to dance with me, Blossom?" The question made her flinch so hard, that she stumbled very ungracefully over her feet. Brick however just tightened the grip on her hand and pulled her closer to his side. "Sorry, what were you saying? I was distracted." Brick only smiled and walked in front of her. Still holding her hand inhis. "Do you want to dance with me?" Blossom searched for uncertainty in the eyes looking at her. However she found sincerity instead. "I promised it to you Brick, so lead the way please."With that she was swept away to one of the dance floors.

Ina different area Buttercup had met the sport that would be the end ofher. Turns out that dancing wasn't just twisting your body in random ways while there is music playing in the background. But after some assistance from Butch she slowly started to feel the rhythm. Only after he had enough of teasing her for her resemblance of a drunk monkey. Buttercup felt confidence rushing through her body as a new song started to play. Slowly incorporating more and more moves from kickboxing. She threw a kick in Butch's direction as a challenge. Being the daredevil he was, he accepted.

Forhaving the statue of a rock, Butch was surprisingly quick on hisfeet. He was also a lot more smooth in his movements. Slipping out of her attacks, then delivering little shoves with his palm in the openings of her defense. Careful to keep his strength under control.Buttercup, however was not backing down. She started the battle andshe would finish it. Blowing a strand of hair out of her face, she started again. But this time she started moving smoother and with more of her body. Something she had learned from Blossom. Her change in pace and movement gave her the element of surprise. Buttercup managed to get a hit on Butch.

"I've got to give it to you Butters, you learn fast." Buttercup only muttered a curse as an answer. As well as blaming the hot climate forher flaming hot cheeks. Only to miss that Butch's ears were mirroring the shade. Buttercup was mesmerizing. The way she moved and how the light made her skin glow. Her gaze however, had him trapped the most. Like two emeralds under the wild spotlight shining at him. The battle turned more heated as both of them got closer. Throwing caution completely to the wind, Buttercup gave in to wishes that had been lingering in her mind for so long. Running her hands over his built shoulders, while enjoying the feeling of his hands on her waist. Some students had to look away, as Buttercup hooked her legs around Butch's waist. Letting her upper body fall down, while he casually let his hand run down her collarbone.

An action that definitely didn't get unnoticed by Buttercup as her breath hitched, feeling his hand between her breasts. The only barrier being the thin fabric of the dress. Deciding to return the favor, the girl clamped her legs tighter around his waist, pushing herself up again. Not before rolling her hips against his body. Something he enjoyed as his hand squeezed her butt in return. "Having fun Sweet-cheeks?" Buttercup bit back a shivers of pleasure as she felt his warm breath on her neck and rugged voice in her ears. Instead her nails began to dig into his back. "Not as much as yourhands on my ass Butch."

Buttercup's cocky smirk however didn't last long as she felt Butch's lips on her neck leaving a heavy kiss. "You sure?" The girl was sure she felt his lips curve upward, while he enjoyed her reactions. Tightening the heated embrace he continued: "Your breathing says something else Buttercup." Unaware that they were long gone from the dance floor. With the only thing being music getting more muffled. It was only now, gone from all the different smells, that Buttercup noticed an eerily familiar scent.

"Butch, why the fuck do smell of explosives?!" The loaded tension frombefore was gone. Buttercup, now dead serious. With that reality settled back in her mind, as she was back on her feet again. After a deep sigh Butch only saying that they couldn't talk here, both of them made their way through a labyrinth of hallways of the basement, they reached an unassuming door.

Blissfully unaware of what was about to go down two floors beneath them, Bubbles and Boomer danced one heavenly dance after the other. Both of them being huge fans of ballroom dancing, floating through one dance afterthe other. People were in awe of what they were seeing. The many layers of her dress were flying as the pair twisted and turned across the floor. It was a sight of two angels dancing, both completely focused on the other. As a pair of daylight and night sky seemingly became one. Bubbles felt free from the caging feeling the stares usually gave. This time she just enjoyed the music, forgetting the threat and Boomers company. How he just seemed to understand where to place his hand perfectly on her waist. Wishing their hands would stay interlocked like that forever.

The feeling was mutual as Boomer had found the person he had longed to be with. Her gaze made him believe in love. Believe that he was able to spend his life with one person only. All because of her.

It hurt him that she was in danger, and he didn't know from where it came from. He couldn't risk her getting hurt. "Boomer, is there something worrying you?" No, there's a group of people that used to work with my dad, that is trying to kidnap and use you for a purpose that I don't know. Is what he should have told her. But after he had seen her so scared a few hours before, he wasn't sure anymore. "I'm worried about what happens next."

Bubbles noticing that look of uncertainty took his face in her delicate hands. Bracing herself from what she was about so say next: "I am scared as well. You saw how terrified I was just hours ago. But you were there for me. Like you have always been since you came back. We'll figure something out. I'm sure that Blossom and Brick are planning something. Just look at those two"
