Personally, I can see Louis Partridge (who Olivia wrote the song about) and Matt as a very similar type of person.  Matt is like poetry because a lot of poetry written by women (aka olivia) is about boys who care, who aren't afraid to show their love, and Matt fits it perfectly. When he loves someone, he's very deep and comitted to them. He's the type of person you'd want to get married too. Sometimes his outfits reflect on the headspace he's in. Tough Guy Matt or Soft Matt. Either of them are VERY attractive. Plus, I think Matt would read just a tiny bit more than the other two. We know he isn't the most skilled at reading out loud, but in his head, re-reading over the words in his journal about his day/night/a dream stuff like that.

I DO NOT actually think Matt is a snake at all. I think when he is in his 'tuff guy' era, he's a little cold like a snake can be. But I more so think of it as change. Snakes shed their skin, similarly to how people can change. I feel like we always notice when there's a subtle or large change in Matt's attitude. The devil part... I think Matt can be quite annoying when he wants to be. He chooses when, why, where, and about what to talk about. I think if he knows talking about a certain subject will piss you off (about clothes you don't like, celebrities, certain songs) and tease you about it all the time (he'd probably show you a pair of ugly shoes and say he's getting them for you as a joke HE IS A DEVIL). And then the feelings part, falling in love with Matt is probably the easiest thing. Neither Nick or Chris seem open to romance at all. Neither of them have dated (from what we have publicly seen) since the beginning of their career. I think it can make them look unapproachable and inaccessible to love. Which I why I think falling in love with Matt comes so easy, but also I'm sure if he's not feeling all that into it, you'll get hurt so don't be afraid to run off.

Let's take a deep breath for a second and remember Matt's a 21 year old adult and has been dealing with anxiety his entire life for a second... Okay go! So... I think there's a lot of anxieties and insecurities that would keep him from being as open as I mentioned above. Not unattainable, but unreadable if that makes sense. I feel like Matt is the cleanest on the outside (we've seen when they had COVID) because the inside of his head can get pretty messy. And as open as he is about it, there's just some thing's you don't want to say. Some thing's you shouldn't say. And I think it's some of those thing's that are the deeply rooted insecurities that make him be quieter than his brothers. He doesn't want to draw any attention to himself, unless the shell breaks and he's feeling comfortable. We've all seen the way Matt believes he 'doesn't have a personality' (as if he isn't the sweetest being on Earth). Once he meets his special one, it's like all those dark feelings of dread can disappear. he can finally realize his anxieties and insecurities were all for nothing.

TBH... I think Matt is either the kind of guy to like no one or like everyone (aka mr. "i don't like how people are guessing my type" or whatever he said). Anyways, like I've mentioned a million times, he's either super into the relationship or not. And the second line, I think it portrays to him than a woman. Matt wants to be seen where he wants to be seen. He goes to parties when he wants to. Sometimes he's there, just not being seen.
