And in that moment,
It didn't matter anymore.I could see the love in his eye
Care, craze, and compassion
For her and not me.And when I saw them,
So deep in love
The one I longingly craved,
I could sense it was said and done.That they were made for each other
And I was made for fun.It didn't matter because
All this time,
I was so accepting of it.
And I will be
Willing to be it for all time.I lost sense;
When I was blinded by my love for him.
I lost my senses
When I thought I loved the right personIt didn't matter
As it was all my fault.
The rush, pain, and the hurt too.I fell for him
As Icarus fell for the sun.
I grew too close to him;
I lost my vision for who I wasIt doesn't matter anymore.
For I know I can't unlove
The wrong person.
But I can love the right one.I say to her in the mirror
"I'm sorry I hurt you
But you forgave him.
The least I deserve
Is your forgiveness too."
