My poems may not be great,
but they come from my heart and soul
which is pure in its love and truth so brave.
I write because I must express myself
in my endless ways of thinking and feeling
that overflow from my core.
My poems may not be great
but I share what I think and feel,
in hopes that they will touch that
soul that is in need and help it heal
knowing that there is another that knows
just how they feel.
