Downtime

Clayface threw A muddy Nightcrawler into a large pillar before falling to the ground with a groan. . Nightcrawler fell next to his other teammates, who were currently unconscious. He was close to passing out as he had been hit and thrown so many times that he had lost count. Just before anything thing else happen Batman glides down stopping Clayface.  

Nightcrawler walks through the Zeta Tube dry mug, sticking in his fur as Batman turns towards them. "I need to talk to Aqualad, the rest of you hit the showers and head home." Batman says. 

"Head home? I am Home." Superboy says as he stomps towards the showers. Nightcrawler and Kid Flash following after. 

Kai stood in the locker room peeling off his suit that seemed to be sticking to his body. The others where already in the showers. Kai turns when he hears the door open. And in walk Robin who was currently angrily mumbling to him self. 

"Just Aqualad. What's so important that he needs just Aqualad." Robin angrily mumbles as he begins taking off his gloves and cape. 

Kai just watches as Robin angrily stomps into the shower room. Shaking his head he peels off his suit and heads to the shower prepared to spend hours cleaning the mud out of his fur. 

Kai finished last in the showers and by then his stomach was growling in hunger. Walking towards the Zeta Tube planning what he was going to eat for dinner that night. Walking through the Zeta Tube he appeared in Star City only to be met with a Red Arrow flying towards him. 

Quickly he moved out the way ready for a fight despite being hungry and tired. "Your reaction time was slower." A very familiar voice say from the shadows. Stepping out of the shadows Roy Harper stood in civilian clothing with his bow and arrows. "What happen to you?" He asks looking at Kai tired human looking face. 

Kai stood up from his crouched position and looked at Roy with a tired expression. "Clayface." He says as he picks up the red arrow that was just shot at him.

"Hmm, Canary and Green are having a date night, so I'm taking you out for food. Come on." Roy says walking out of the alley but not before putting his bow and arrows away. Kai quickly follows behind him not even bothering to argue. 

Kai and Roy both sat in the only German Restaurant they could find in Star City. "So.... how's the Team going?" Roy asks as the waitress bring their drinks. 

"Danke." Kai says to the waitress he turns his attention towards Roy. "It's going fine." Kai answers as he takes a sip from his water.  

"Are you getting along with everyone?" Roy asks.

"Yes. Me and Miss Martian like to talk about American shows we've seen. Me and Superboy- well we sit in silence together, sometimes when he's in a good mood we train. Aqualad is a really good leader and helps me when I need it.  Robin asked me to teach him German, so we do that and train sometimes. Artemis- well Artemis likes to talk about different things. I'm going to be honest half the time I don't know what she's talking about. And Kid Flash- well sometimes we are joking around the next he says something that makes me want to punch him." Kai explains. Roy just stares at him all he wanted to know if he was doing good but instead got a whole explination.

"Um, that's good." He says as the Waitress comes by with there food. 

"Danke." Kai says sending a smile to the Waitress. 

"Well to deal with Wally a good hit would work." Roy says. 

"Noted." Kai says before digging in to his food.
