'Sneaking with a Muggle, in the middle of the night?!', 'I love him.', 'Guess we need to pay him a little visit then.', 'What?! No! You can't do that!', 'Obliviate.' The next day - for my luck, our last lesson of the day got canceled in last minute, so I got the perfect time to take the fifteen minute walk to Hogsmeade and buy the Potions book before the detention starts. "Here we have it. Anything else for you, my dear?" the sales man hands me the paper bag where the book is in. "No, this is perfect. Thank you!" I smile, hand him the money and leave the shop. 'Cling-!' The fresh and somewhat crispy autumn air hits right in my face as I walk out. Feels like it's about to be cold night. Merlin, I love autumn so much. There are people of all ages walking around the streets. Going in and coming out of different kinds of shops every few minutes. Most of them being the people who lives here. My gaze wanders around for a quick moment around the area when I eventually spot the familiar shop I must pay visit everytime I'm here. 'Cling-!'

"Welcome to Honeydukes!" the shopkeeper happily exclaims their usual way anytime someone enters the place as she's serving a costumer. Man, the divine smell that lures into my nose right away as I walk in... Don't think there's nothing to compare. I flash this tiny smile towards her way and start walking around, see all of the marvelous sweets and treats on the display. The sight of them is almost blinding. There are so many to choose on. There are few costumers here with me at the moment. Usually when I'm here, this place is filled with other classmates and noise, so it's quite nice to finally have the time watch everything in peace. Such a treat, if I may say. "Urgh, hurry up and make up your mind, Pete." someone sighs with low tone, sounding a bit frustrated. Hm?

I shift my eyes from the honey-colored toffees to take a peek behind the shelf, and see these two boys all the way back of the shop, standing near the barrel that is filled with Fizzing Whizzbees. Peter Pettigrew and James Potter. Their class also got canceled? "We still need to go to Zonko's!" James keeps whispering to his friend. "Why? What's in there?" Peter asks. James rolls his eyes:"I need the Gillyweed Tonic from there.". "What you gonna do with that?" Peter wonders. Mischievous smirk raises upon the Gryffindor:"Sirius and I are going to pour it in Snivellus's drink when he's not looking.". "Ah! Can't wait to see that!" Peter chuckles. "So hurry up and make the choice!" James whisper hisses and gives a small nudge on the side of his friend's arm. "Right." Peter again turns to look at the sweets. Snivellus? My eyes shifts away from the boys as I try to think if I know someone that named in our school, but... Can't really think of anyone. Then again, it's not unusual I forget people's names.

"Thank you, come again!" the shopkeeper's cheerful voice caught my attention for a quick second as she waves goodbye to a costumer. When I turn my focus back to the boys, for my big surprise - they are not there anymore! Huh?! I keep turning my head, but I can't find them anywhere. It is impossible they went past me to the cashier and out of the shop just like that. Or... Is it? Where did they go? The shopkeeper and I happens to make the eye contact, and she smiles:"Yes? Is there anything I can help you with, dear?". Her attention brings me back from my thoughts and somehow this tiny panic raises:"Oh, uh... No, I..- I think I just found what I'm looking for. Thanks.". Quickly, I grab two bags of the toffees and come to the desk, even I wished to look around more. Still a bit thrown off by the boys sudden disappearance, I suppose. "Thank you, hope we'll see you again!" the shopkeeper exclaims after I paid for the sweets and left. Again, the crispy autumn weather crawls to hug me as I come outside. While standing there, I see the Zonko's Joke Shop further away. Perhaps I'm little bit tempted to go and see if the boys really are in there. But... I should head back to the castle.

It started raining later that day. The sound of the raindrops hitting against the window in Restricted Section can be heard on my right side as I'm putting the books back where they should be. "There..." I quietly whisper to myself after pushing the final book to its place and fix my rolled up sleeves of the white school collared shirt. This little joy visits in me while looking at the nicely organized shelf in front of me. Only... There are still so many shelves to go thru. Urgh... What a pain in the arse. Especially putting them in alphabetical order. But guess I got no other choice than start a new one. Third shelf, here I come! I take a glance on Snape's way, who's still filling his first shelf. He's wearing his full school uniform - unlike me, who tossed the black robe onto the bench right after arriving here. Yesterday the big sleeves of it were getting too much in the way, so decided it'll be for the best take it off.

Snape and I have barely said a word to each other this whole time. Haven't dared to look too much in his way what he's been up to, but I could have sworn I saw him reading few pages of one of the books at some point while putting them in order. No wonder he's lacking behind. I look up to see the time. 18.21 pm. It's almost the end of today's detention and dinner time. Mr. Filch has come check up on us time to time, and I suppose he'll be here any minute right now before the detention is about to end. Maybe I could check couple more books to speed up my tomorrow's process. Without thinking any further, I randomly grab one of the books from the pile. It's one of the larger ones, bounded in black and silver. The name of it on the cover has faded over time, so it's not easy to read what it says - which is not uncommon with as old as these books. Since the name usually gets repeated in the very first page, I open it. Right away, a piercing, bloodcurdling shriek split the silence in the library as in seconds the book started screaming with someone's face pushing thru it! "WHAT THE..-?!?!" I exclaim eyes wide and quickly snap it shut.

The book keeps shrieking on and on, only more muffled. I keep pressing the book close between the table and my whole upper body, just in case that thing - whatever it was - tries to crawl thru. My heart is beating so freaking fast right now. What the hell was that?! "Well... It was about time you to open that." the Slytherin hums pleased from his side of the aisle. My head snaps right at him with a frown while still keeping the book at its place:"Huh?". Snape puts one of the books to its place without looking at my way:"I've waited for that moment since yesterday. Worth the wait, I suppose.". He knew?! "Why didn't you say anything?!" I exclaim frustrated. Just when he's about to say something back, we hear how the gates to the Restricted Section opens and Mr. Filch walks in with his cat, screaming how we two should be quiet and not chatting with each other.

After getting berated and lectured by the Caretaker for five minutes, we head out of the library, straight to the Great Hall for dinner. The whole way there, I kept my head down. Trying to make myself calm down. I hate getting yelled at. It always makes me feel so small and I don't know how to act in those situations. So I always find myself apologizing and trying to make peace with the person, even I know its no use. Unlike Snape, who just stood there. Not a single emotion on his face the whole time the old man yelled at us. Because of the lack of his response, Mr. Filch kept looking at me more than him, and it felt like I was the one who got the blame for 'being so loud'. I just wish to head straight to bed and be done with this day.

Right when we enter the Great Hall, Snape and I walk different directions to get our own House's tables. Good thing they are completely opposites of the room from each other. Can't look at him right now without getting irritated. "Hello, (Y/N)." Tonks smiles her usual way while having dinner at the end of the Hufflepuff's table. "Hi." I try to respond to her smile. There are some of her friends sitting beside her. They all take a quick glance at me and continues to eat and chat whatever they were chatting about. Tonks sees this too with the corner of her eye, but ignores them and turns to me as I'm standing at the end of the long table:"Guess what?! I signed up for Hufflepuff's Quidditch team!". Both of my eyebrows raise:"Oh?". Just then, a group of people speaking loudly enters the Great Hall with us. Some of us turn to look what's going on. It's the Gryffindor's Quidditch team. They are all soaking wet while wearing the Quidditch garments. Lily being one of them.

They all walk straight to their House's table and get greeted by their classmates. "Don't tell me you actually had a practice in that storm?" one of the girls asks, looking amazed. Lily pushes her wet hair back:"What? It's just a little rain.". She looks so effortlessly pretty while doing so. I would look like a hairy creature that would have been pulled out of the bath, or something that sort if I was in her shoes. Everyone around the team has their eyes glued on her while she continues on chatting with other Gryffindors on that table. My eyes travels around the room, and I happen to spot Snape. Out of all of the people. He's also staring at the girl while sitting at the end of the Slytherin's table. It's like he can't get his eyes off of her while eating. So much so he doesn't even notice how Sirius Black casually walks right past by him from behind and drops something in his cup. Huh? Confused, I shift my gaze between Sirius and Snape. There is an evil smirk on Black's eyes as he keeps approaching the Quidditch team. When I look at the team, I notice James, smiling back to him. And then... It clicked. 'We still need to go to Zonko's!', 'Why? What's in there?', 'I need the Gillyweed Tonic from there.', 'What you gonna do with that?' . 'Sirius and I are going to pour it in Snivellus's drink when he's not looking.'. 'Ah! Can't wait to see that!'.
