-----Katsuki's injuries from Mitsumi’s attack were hidden from his classmates, but the bruises and emotional scars weighed heavily on him. The physical pain was a constant reminder of Mitsumi's harshness, but the real torment was the fear of losing Izuku.
Back at the dorm, Katsuki kept his distance from his friends, making up excuses for his appearance and avoiding their questions. Shoto, ever perceptive, noticed the change in Katsuki’s demeanor and approached him one evening with concern.
“Katsuki,” Shoto said, his voice calm but filled with worry. “You’ve been acting off lately. What’s going on?”
Katsuki looked away, his expression pained. “It’s nothing. Just… family stuff.”
Shoto wasn’t convinced, but he respected Katsuki’s desire for privacy. “If you need anything, you know I’m here.”
As Katsuki struggled to maintain his composure, Izuku’s concern for him grew. He had tried to comfort Katsuki, but the physical and emotional distance between them had made it difficult. Katsuki had been evasive about what happened with Mitsumi, but Izuku was determined to find out the truth.
One evening, as Katsuki sat alone in the dorm room, nursing his wounds in silence, Mitsumi’s rigid disapproval became increasingly apparent. She had made it clear that she expected Katsuki to focus solely on his academic and personal development, dismissing any distractions—especially those related to his relationship with Izuku.
Mitsumi’s homophobia was evident in her harsh words and actions. She had never hidden her disdain for anything she deemed unconventional or inappropriate. Her views were unyielding, and she saw Katsuki’s relationship with Izuku as a dangerous distraction that needed to be eradicated.
As Katsuki returned home from a day of hiding his injuries and avoiding his friends, Mitsumi was waiting for him. Her expression was one of rigid disapproval as she sat in the living room, arms crossed.
“Sit down, Katsuki,” she commanded, her voice sharp.
Katsuki hesitated but obeyed, feeling a mixture of dread and resignation. “What’s this about?”
Mitsumi’s gaze was unwavering. “I’ve been thinking about your behavior lately, and I’m not pleased. It’s clear to me that you’ve been allowing your relationship with Izuku to interfere with your responsibilities.”
Katsuki tried to remain calm. “It’s not like that. We care about each other. It’s not a distraction.”
Mitsumi’s eyes narrowed, and her tone became harsher. “Caring about someone doesn’t excuse poor behavior or lack of focus. You’ve been neglecting your studies and your responsibilities, and that’s unacceptable.”
Katsuki’s voice trembled slightly. “Izuku supports me. He’s not a distraction.”
Mitsumi’s expression hardened further, and she leaned forward, her voice dripping with contempt. “You’re deluding yourself if you think this is a healthy relationship. It’s nothing but a distraction from what’s truly important.”
Before Katsuki could respond, Mitsumi’s tone took on an even more menacing edge. “If you can’t see that, I’ll have to make you understand. You need to end this relationship with Izuku, and you need to do it now.”
Katsuki’s heart sank, and he felt a surge of anger and fear. “You can’t just tell me what to do. You don’t understand.”
Mitsumi’s face twisted into a scowl. “I understand enough. If you won’t comply willingly, I’ll make sure you do. Your future depends on it.”
The conversation was cut short as Mitsumi’s rigid demeanor turned violent. She launched into another physical assault, her anger manifesting in a series of harsh blows. Katsuki tried to defend himself, but the ferocity of Mitsumi’s attack was overwhelming. Each hit seemed to drive home her insistence that he abandon his relationship with Izuku.
The pain was excruciating, but the emotional impact was even more devastating. Katsuki felt utterly defeated, the physical abuse a stark reminder of Mitsumi’s unyielding disapproval. When the assault finally ceased, Mitsumi stood over Katsuki, her expression one of cold satisfaction.
“Consider this a lesson,” Mitsumi said, her voice devoid of empathy. “If you continue to defy me, there will be more consequences. You’ll end things with Izuku, or you’ll face even harsher punishment.”
Katsuki, battered and bruised, could only nod weakly. His mind was a whirl of pain and anguish, struggling to process the enormity of Mitsumi’s threats and the fear of losing Izuku.
As Mitsumi left the room, Katsuki slumped to the floor, his emotions a tumultuous mix of despair and determination. Despite the brutal confrontation, he knew he had to find a way to protect his relationship with Izuku.
Back at the dorms, Izuku’s worry for Katsuki reached a breaking point. He had noticed the bruises and the increasingly evasive behavior and had decided to confront Katsuki about what was happening.
One night, as Katsuki returned to his room, Izuku was waiting for him. His expression was a blend of concern and frustration. “Kacchan, we need to talk. I know something’s wrong. What did Mitsumi do to you?”
Katsuki met Izuku’s gaze, his resolve wavering. “Izuku, I… I don’t want you to see me like this. Mitsumi’s… she’s made it clear she doesn’t approve of us. She’s done things to make sure I end things with you.”
Izuku’s eyes widened with shock and anger. “What did she do?”
Katsuki’s voice was barely a whisper. “She hurt me. She said if I didn’t end things with you, it would only get worse.”
Izuku’s face contorted with a mix of fury and sorrow. “That’s awful. We can’t let her control us like this. We have to find a way to be together, despite what she says.”
Katsuki reached out, taking Izuku’s hand. “I don’t want to lose you, Izuku. But I don’t know how to handle this.”
Izuku squeezed Katsuki’s hand firmly. “We’ll face this together. No matter what happens, we’ll find a way through it.”
Their bond, though tested by Mitsumi’s brutal disapproval, remained unshaken. As they held each other close, Katsuki and Izuku resolved to stand firm against the challenges they faced, determined to protect their love despite the obstacles and opposition they encountered.
