Katsuki nodded, patting the spot beside him. “Sure. What’s on your mind?”
Izuku sat down next to Katsuki, the cool breeze rustling their hair. He stared out at the cityscape, trying to find the right words. “I’ve been thinking a lot about us, and I realized there’s something I need to tell you.”
Katsuki’s curiosity was piqued. “What is it?”
Izuku’s heart raced as he tried to find the courage to express his feelings. “Kacchan, I… I care about you a lot. More than just as a friend.”
Katsuki looked at him, a mix of surprise and concern in his eyes. “What are you saying, Izuku?”
Izuku turned to face Katsuki, his expression earnest and vulnerable. “I’ve been trying to understand my feelings, and I’ve come to realize that I have strong feelings for you. I don’t want to rush anything or make things awkward, but I needed you to know how I feel.”
Katsuki’s eyes widened, and he looked away, struggling to process the confession. “Izuku, I— I didn’t expect this.”
Izuku reached out, placing a gentle hand on Katsuki’s shoulder. “I know it’s a lot to take in. I just needed to be honest with you. Whatever you feel, whatever you want, I’m here for you.”

Izuku squeezed Katsuki’s shoulder gently, offering a reassuring smile. “You don’t have to have all the answers right now. I’m not asking for anything specific. I just wanted you to know where I stand.”
Katsuki took a deep breath, his mind racing as he tried to reconcile his feelings with Izuku’s confession. “I don’t want to push you away or mess things up. I just… I need time to figure things out.”
Izuku nodded, his smile unwavering despite the uncertainty. “Take all the time you need, Kacchan. I’m here for you, no matter what.”
The two sat in silence for a while, the city lights flickering below them as they both absorbed the weight of the conversation. Katsuki was overwhelmed by the intensity of his emotions, but he felt a flicker of hope amidst the confusion.
As the evening drew to a close, Izuku stood up, stretching slightly. “I should get going. I just wanted to make sure you knew how I felt.”
Katsuki stood as well, his gaze still fixed on the cityscape. “Thanks for being honest with me, Izuku. I appreciate it.”
Izuku nodded, giving Katsuki a final reassuring smile before heading towards the door. “I’ll see you around, Kacchan.”
Katsuki watched Izuku leave, his thoughts a whirlwind of emotions. He knew that the path ahead would be challenging, but he also understood that he needed to confront his feelings honestly. The confession had opened a new chapter in their relationship, and Katsuki was determined to navigate it with the same honesty and vulnerability that Izuku had shown.
