Hellooo

-----

The morning light spilled through the curtains of Katsuki’s dorm room, casting soft shadows on the walls. Katsuki had hardly slept, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions after the previous night’s kiss. Each passing hour felt like a test of his resolve, and he wrestled with the growing anxiety of how to address what had happened.

Down the hall, Izuku had also struggled to find rest. He had stayed up thinking about the kiss, trying to understand Katsuki’s sudden departure. The uncertainty and confusion left him feeling unsettled, but he was determined to address the situation with patience and care.

As the morning progressed, Katsuki decided to take a walk around the campus to clear his mind. The crisp air felt refreshing against his skin, but the weight of his emotions remained heavy. He found himself wandering aimlessly until he ended up in the park area, where a few students were scattered around, enjoying the peaceful morning.

He spotted Izuku sitting on a bench, reading a book. Katsuki’s heart skipped a beat at the sight, and he hesitated for a moment before approaching. Izuku looked up, his expression a mixture of relief and apprehension.

“Kacchan,” Izuku greeted, his voice gentle. “I was hoping I’d run into you.”

Katsuki rubbed the back of his neck, his usual bravado replaced by a more vulnerable demeanor. “Yeah, well… I didn’t know where else to go.”

Izuku closed his book and patted the spot beside him. “Want to talk?”

Katsuki took a deep breath and sat down, trying to gather his thoughts. “About last night… I’m sorry for what happened. I didn’t mean to—”

Izuku cut him off gently. “It’s okay, Kacchan. I understand that things are complicated, and I appreciate your honesty.”

Katsuki looked at Izuku, his eyes filled with conflicted emotions. “It’s not that simple. I’ve been struggling with a lot of things, and I don’t know how to handle these feelings. I didn’t want to push you away or make things awkward.”

Izuku nodded, his gaze steady. “I know it’s not easy. But I want you to know that you don’t have to go through this alone. I’m here for you, no matter what.”

Katsuki’s eyes softened, and he let out a sigh of relief. “I guess I’ve been afraid of letting people in. I didn’t want to be a burden or mess things up.”

Izuku reached out and placed a reassuring hand on Katsuki’s shoulder. “You’re not a burden, Kacchan. It’s okay to have fears and doubts. What matters is that you’re trying to work through them.”

Katsuki nodded, feeling a sense of comfort from Izuku’s words. “I appreciate that. I guess I just need to figure things out for myself too.”

Izuku smiled, his eyes warm and understanding. “Take your time. We can work through this together. And if you need space or a break, just let me know.”

Katsuki’s heart felt lighter with the reassurance that Izuku was willing to support him through his struggles. “Thanks, Izuku. I’ll try to be more open about what I’m going through.”

As they sat together, the tension between them began to ease. They talked about their day, their upcoming classes, and even shared a few laughs. The conversation flowed naturally, and Katsuki began to feel a renewed sense of hope.

Later that day, as the sun began to set and the campus grew quieter, Katsuki found himself reflecting on the conversation with Izuku. He realized that his fears of being a burden or making things awkward were rooted in his own insecurities. The support and understanding from Izuku had given him a new perspective on how to approach his emotional journey.

As Katsuki made his way back to his dorm, he felt a sense of determination. He knew that the road ahead would be challenging, but he was committed to working through his emotions and learning to trust in the support he had been given.

That evening, as Katsuki prepared for bed, he received a text from Izuku. It was a simple message: *“If you ever need to talk or just want some company, I’m always here.”*

Katsuki read the message with a smile, feeling a sense of gratitude for the friendship and support he had in Izuku. He knew that the path to emotional healing was still long and filled with uncertainties, but he felt more hopeful about facing it with Izuku by his side.

As he drifted off to sleep, Katsuki made a silent promise to himself: to continue working through his struggles, to be open about his feelings, and to embrace the connections that helped him along the way.

The journey was far from over, but with each step forward, Katsuki and Izuku were learning to navigate the complexities of their relationship and the challenges of their emotional growth. The road ahead was filled with potential, and they were both ready to face it together.
