Lin leaned over, his lips nearly touching Iris',  she moaned quietly.

Her eyes suddenly opening she sat bolt upright in bed, her heart racing.
It took her a second to come round. She flopped back down and put her arm over her eyes.
"Jesus Christ."
Her body was tingling. She liked the sensation and closed her eyes again, willing herself to get back to sleep to finish the dream.
She pictured Lin's beautiful face and imagined running her hands through his hair. The image changed and she suddenly found herself picturing Gia.
She sat up again.
"Damnit"
She flicked the light on and looked at the time - midnight.
Getting out of bed she padded round and looked out of the window, admiring the twinkling lights below.
She tried to make sense of her dream. She liked Lin. How could she not! He was good looking. Kind. Funny. Sensitive. Intelligent....
"Married Iris... married! Let's not forget that slight detail!"
She walked out angrily into the kitchen to get a glass of water.
Sighing she ran the tap and put the glass under it. Lifting it up she gasped as it slipped through her fingers and shattered into pieces in the sink.
"Fuck sake..."

The light came on surprising her. She blinked quickly as she turned round.

"Jeez, I thought we were being burgled" Lin looked towards her and walked over.
Dressed just in tight boxers, his hair disheveled, he had clearly been rudely yanked from his sleep.
"Shit are you ok? You're bleeding."

Iris frowned and looked at her hand. "Oh yeah! I didn't realise."

"Let me see."
He took her hand in his and carefully ran it under the cold tap. Iris stood, unable to move. Acutely aware of how close he was to her.
Just her thin silk vest top forming a barrier between her and Lin's bare chest, the heat from him radiating into her.
He gently pressed his thumb into her hand.
"Can you feel this? Does anything hurt."
She had an overwhelming urge to respond.
"My clit hurts. It's going to explode." but managed to stay quiet.
"Erm. No. Nothing hurts. I'm sure it's just a scratch."

He frowned and looked more closely.
"I don't think there's anything in it. I'll get something to cover it and you should be good to go."

"Lin it's fine. I don't need it."

"Yes you do. Apart from anything else it will give us a head start later. Jon might go easy on us if he thinks you're at a disadvantage."
He looked at her and shrugged. "Every cloud...."

She laughed.
"So a bit competitive too huh. Would you like me to break my leg as well, just to guarantee a win?"

He instinctively looked at her bare legs. His eyes running up to her small silk shorts and top. He visibly swallowed.
Iris could feel him taking her all in.

She stood quietly and looked back at him. Her gaze moving down his body, over his chest to his...
"Holy shit!"
Her eyes rested on his full cock, clearly visible under his boxers. She looked back to his face quickly.
"Holy shit. It's starting to hurt now... my hand."

Lin looked at her, his eyes dark.
"Yeah.. Let's... Bandage! I was getting a bandage."
He quickly walked away from her, reached up and grabbed a first aid kit from the cupboard.
He pulled a stool out and sat in front of her, his legs either side of hers.
"Ok. Put your hand here."
He patted to his thigh.

Iris moved her arm slowly, hesitating, eventually resting her hand on his bare leg. She kept her eyes looking anywhere but down.

"Ok"
He looked more carefully at her hand and twisted round to pick up the bandage. Her hand moved with him stroking his leg and she gasped quietly as she felt his soft firm skin.
"You ok?"
He looked at her, his face full of concern.

"Yes. Fine."

"Your hands are freezing."
He wrapped the bandage slowly round the wound.
"Still. Cold hands warm heart. Isn't that what they say?"

She smiled.
"I like to think so."

"I'd say so."
He looked hard at her, fleetingly moving his gaze to her chest and back up again.
She looked down and noticed her nipples were standing to attention under the silk.
He pinned the end of the bandage down and lifted her hand to admire his work.

"I guess you were a Boy Scout as well? Good job."

He laughed and shrugged.
"Sure you're ok? Do you want a painkiller?"

"Honestly, I'm fine. Sorry about the glass."

"Yeah. Pity. That was a family heirloom piece. One of a kind from a little shop in Vega Alta. Irreplaceable."

"Oh shit no! Oh God I'm so sorry."

"Yeah... little place called Walmart. Think there were only about two hundred thousand pieces made."

Iris rolled her eyes.
"Gods sake Lin! Don't do that to me."

"Sorry. Ow!"
He shouted out as she slapped him on the leg laughing.
"Nothing wrong with your other hand!"

"No. I'm left handed thankfully."

"Hey me too! You going to be ok for tomorrow? All joking aside?"

"Sure."

"Ok, well guess we better get back to sleep then. If you need anything tonight come wake me."

Iris could think of a thousand reasons why she would want to wake Lin up tonight none of them to do with her aching hand.
She just nodded.
"Will do. Thanks Lin. See you in the morning."

He picked up his phone on the way back to his room and pressed redial.

Gia looked at the display and sighed.

"Lin?"

She turned and nodded.
"Yep. That's the 6th call today."

"You have to tell him."

"I know Pete. Not over the phone though. I have to do it in person."

He nodded and looked towards the still ringing phone.
"You better get that, he will keep ringing till you at least speak to him, I'll give you some privacy."
He turned and headed for the door.

Gia bent down and picked up her underwear. Putting one leg in, she answered as she hurriedly pulled up her thong.
"Hi, sorry it's been a mad busy day. How are things?"

Iris carefully pulled up the covers and held her arm in front of her. He really had done a good job. He was obviously used to using his hands.
"To play piano.. obviously."
She said to no one, as her mind started to wander.

"How is everything at home? How's Iris getting on?"

"Yeah she's great. I've got loads of time to just write which is amazing, hope it's ok, I've invited her play doubles tomorrow with Jon and Niall."

"Course it's ok, remember when we played tennis together the first time?"

"Oh God! Carnage. Both way too competitive."

Gia nodded.
"Yep! Well, you are."

"Guilty."
He settled on the bed laying down. "When are you home?"

"Saturday morning."

"So another 3 days?"

"Hey I've only been away for a full day."

"I know. If feels like longer.
Gia, are you sure we're ok? I feel like... I feel like I'm losing you."

She blinked quickly to stop the tears threatening to fall.
"Lin.."

"Gia are you ready?"

She spun round quickly and waved her hands frantically to silence him.

Lin frowned.
"Who's that?"

"Oh just Anton. We're going over the day's notes over a drink. Sorry Lin, I've got to dash. I'll message you tomorrow. Night."

"Gia wait. GIA! FUCK!"
He swore as the phone went dead.

"Shit sorry, I thought you'd finished talking."

"Well clearly not!"

"I'm sorry. I promise that was not intentional."

She looked at Pete and shook her head. I think we got away with it...
Anton!"

He laughed. "Let's go and get a drink. I think we both need one."
