MEANINGFUL TRIP

My mother and father arriving last night after I inform them that we will leave to Zurich for a week. I didn't tell them the actual reason, not even Taehyung know about it, but I do find a good excuse for us to leave. They'll be here with the kids while we're gone.

Just bring one luggage, Lucas put it in the trunk and drive us to the airport. Taehyung said goodbye to everyone after me and he get inside the car. I glance at my child whom waving happily at me because I tell Taena that I will bring her so many toys for her.

I look away and breathe slowly, after this, I will probably found where Hoseok keep his fortune, then everything will be over. Hoping to Zurich is my last hope you find an answer.

Feel him touches my hand is a bit of startled me. I look at him. He's wearing black dress shirt which a few buttons is open exposing his chest, and his black coat. He wear all black is the last thing I noticed.

"You okay?" I look at him and smile.

"Yeah." He play with my fingers.

"You're not happy with this trip?"

"Why? I'm so excited."

"You're not showing it. What's wrong, baby?"

"Nothing, I just miss the kids." I quickly says before he gets more suspicious.

"You weren't let them come with us."

"No, it's better for them to stay home, mom likes when we travels so she can spend more time with her grandchildren."

He smile and hold my hand tightly. "You seriously want this vacation?"

"Yeah, I just want to be with you, alone." I stare at him. He smirked like he know the purpose of this trip but he actually didn't. I rest my head at his shoulder and look outside the window. The town was calm in this early morning, people is went for holiday in this early winter. Zurich is the best choice, besides the largest city, the weather is nice, cold and warm at the same time, the lake is frozen and walking at the park during the night is the moment I perhaps consider to give him the gift.

We're at airport when Lucas help us check in, our flight is in a few minutes, I stop by the gate and talk to Lucas.

"Mrs. Kim. This your first trip without me." He says with concern. We both know that my safety is his top priority, even it's not needed, Lucas just learn from the past.

"Twice, I went to Paris alone with Irish while you keep my family safe. There's no need to guard me, Lucas, I have my husband, please stay home with my family and keep them safe." Once again I asked him and he look down with disappointment.

"But what if-"

"The threat is gone, there's nothing to be fear." He nod, heavily agree with me.

"I still don't understand why you pick me instead of yourself." I smile and tilted my head.

"Because you're the only one capable of that job, Lucas,"

"But what if Mr. Jung-"

"He will be proud, his legacy is in good hands." This time he's bod with understanding.

"Where you staying, Mrs. Kim? I'll tell my associates to stay on guard for you and Mr. Kim." I smile at how considerate he is.

"We'll be staying in Zurich. I found peaceful resort, I'll be staying there for five days."

"Why do you need this trip, Mrs. Kim? Is this something to do with me filling the CEO table?" He is still confused, which I consider he is trying to accept that he is now part of Hope holdings.
