~TWELVE~

The first thing Billie noticed when she woke the next morning is that she wasn't alone. She was pressed against a chest, her head nuzzled into a shoulder and her arm draped over a broad body.

Her head tilted up lightly to find the sleeping face of Bobby Finstock. A smile graced her features and tightened her grip around his waist. She felt her heart beat quickening for a moment before it settled peacefully in her chest.

The girl decided this is what she wanted for the rest of her life. To lay beside Bobby and wake up with him every morning. The sound of her phone ringing had her groaning and the man beside her stirring slightly, one eye opening before squeezing shut.

"Turn it off." He grumbled, Billianna chuckled and reached for her phone glancing at the contact. Samual Stilinski.

With a heavy sigh, she answered the call and held her phone up to her ear; Bobby groaning in protest.

"What do you want." She asked flatly, Sam could practically see her deadpan face.

"Where are you?" The boy asked, annoyance in his tone. "The girls said you were at theirs, but what do I find when I go to see you?"

Billianna let out another drawn out sigh before rolling her eyes.

"That's none of your business, Sam." She growled, her heart beating loudly in anger and fear.

"Billie! No one knows where you are!" Sam screamed over the line, she heard a voice telling him to calm down on his side of the line.

"Whatever Sam, you have no right to grill me." She defended.

"I'm your best friend!" Sam retorted with a dry laugh.

Billianna let out her own dry laugh, lifting herself from the bed; Bobby sending her a confused glance. He'd sat up by now, watching the girl closely.

"I think you have me confused with my brother!" Billie exclaimed, she heard Sam sigh and could almost see him shaking his head lightly.

"Billie, that's not fair." Sam sighed, his heart aching. "You have no idea what's going on."

Billianna laughed humourlessly. Her anger fuming out of her, she didn't know what to say to that. She let a shaky breath past her lips and tears build in her eyes.

"Fuck you, Sam." She whispered, her own heart aching. "I'll talk to you when you're ready to tell me what's wrong with Scott."

And with that she hung up.

Bobby watched the McCall girl closely, his eyes raking over the pinched features of her face carefully. The man was attempting to decipher every emotion that flitted through the girls eyes.

"Want to talk about it?" The man asked gently, Billie looked up at the man with a kind smile and went to shake her head 'no' though found herself sighing and nodding.

"For last week something's been happening with Scott." The girl admitted, Bobby nodding along listening intently. "My friends know all about it, and it's really frustrating because he's my brother!"

"Does it have something to do with his freakishly good lacrosse?" Bobby asked, Billie's head shooting up to meet the man's eyes.

"You see it too?" The man nodded and looked away for a moment. The girl laughed dryly, turning her head downward. "I haven't got a clue what's going on."

Bobby sighed and sat himself on the chair beside Billie, his hand reaching down to raise her chin so she could meet his eyes once more.

"He's your brother," Bobby said, "he'll tell you when he's ready." The man leant down and placed a kiss on her forehead and smiled down at her. Billie smiled back and let out a frustrated sigh.

"I'm more mad at Sam than anything." The girl admitted, the man's brows drawing together in confusion. "Ever since all this started happening he's kind of forgotten about me."

"He called you this morning didn't he?" Bobby said, his smile morphing into a smirk. "Sounds like you two need to debrief."

Billie sighed and a smile made its way into her face.

"Thank you." The girl said as she leant up to place a kiss on the man's lips.
