Today is the much awaited birthday party of Y/n’s father. Dahyun and Liz were informed by Y/n that Hanni was in, to their elation. Y/n was waiting for Hanni in front of her apartment. It was already 6 PM, the sun had set. Y/n looked at his watch as he sighed waiting for his “girlfriend”, tonight is the first time they’d be seen in the public eye as a couple after all.
To be honest, Y/n’s nervous. It's not like his father is that easy to fool with such theatrics. But Hanni is his father's weakpoint. He loves Hanni, so Y/n’s hoping that she'd get past his father's walls.
“Y/n!” A voice shouted as Hanni came rushing to Y/n.

“It took you long enough.” Y/n said as he opened the car door for Hanni. He then entered his car and looked at the girl beside him.
“Do I look pretty, love?” Hanni asked as she chuckled, taking the man aback.
“What’s with the endearment?” Y/n asked.
“Well, we shouldn’t have any slip ups later, no?” Hanni said as Y/n nodded. He started to drive as his passenger pouted. He looked back to see Hanni who was unamused for some reason.
“Is anything wrong? Bad day at the uni?” Y/n asked as Hanni sighed.
“You didn’t answer my question.” Hanni said as Y/n continued to drive, this time now actually looking at the road.
“What question?” Y/n asked, wanting to clear the confusion.
“I asked you if I look beautiful.” Hanni said as she let out a cute hmph sound which made Y/n chuckle.
“If you only know how hard it is to resist not looking at the road when there's eye candy at my side. Of course you look stunning. Are you happy now?” Y/n said as Hanni’s pout crept into a smile. Hanni just didn’t know that she’d be happy to be described as eye candy.
The two made their way to the Kim mansion as Y/n was greeted by the bright lights that cover the mansion’s whole vicinity.
“Ah, I guess dad didn’t want to hold an indoor party this time. C’mon, let’s go.” Y/n took note as he heard noises coming from the big backyard they have. He and Hanni made their way to the backyard as they were greeted by Dahyun.
