Chapter 11: How Do You Keep The Music Playing?

Y/n's mind couldn't fathom, he tried slapping himself, trying to deny himself of the reality, the reality that he and Hanni had sex. The two adults, crossing the line.

Now, if you think about it, this wasn't their first time, they were in a relationship during college, it's not like they've never explored one's bodies. But given that they're in a fake relationship, what they did was certainly not fake sex.

Y/n immediately put on a shirt and his underwear on. How would he even look and talk to Hanni when she wakes up? He can't even look at her right now because well, because of the lack of clothes. But he'd be lying if he didn't take a peek.

Anyways, he went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. Trying to recollect all his thoughts. After the shower, he immediately dressed up in something nice as he and Hanni need to go back to Seoul later in the day. He also packed his stuff. After that, he exited the hotel room, planning to get some breakfast.

He ordered almost the same thing he did yesterday, yet he upgraded the food sizes, he was tired, and that just makes him more concerned on how he and Hanni acted last night. After a few minutes of waiting for his food, well someone went to him, not the waiter, but the girl he had the night before.

Of course, it was inevitable for him to avoid Hanni but he would've preferred it if he got more time alone. While he was thinking that, Hanni thought the opposite, they really needed to talk after what happened.

"Hey..." Hanni said as she sat down across Y/n who was sweating nervously.

"No need to act so nervous, Y/n. We're adults. It happened already." Hanni said as nonchalantly as possible as Y/n tried to relax himself.

"Have you ordered food for me?" Hanni asked as Y/n nodded.

The two sat quietly as they waited for their food to arrive even though Hanni seemed calm, it's of course given that what they did last night made the two of them a little bit uncomfortable with the atmosphere. The two ate quietly, no small talk as uttered.

The food that tasted great the day before felt awful and appalling because of the mood. The bossa nova that played and could be heard was supposed to soothe the nerves yet it offered Y/n a more melancholic and chaotic feeling as if the world was burning down slowly while the only thing he could do was stare at it all crumbling down.

After that one of a kind breakfast, the two went back to their room and quickly packed up. Hanni logged them off from the hotel's lobby as Y/n got his car and went to the entrance where he'll pick up Hanni.

The two started their journey back to Seoul. The short trip in Busan was nice but as all empires fall, all moments of happiness also end. An hour in the trip, Y/n's phone suddenly rang, obstructing the GPS view. The contact ID read "LIZ".

"Y/n-oppa! Are you going back to Seoul?" Liz asked through the cell phone line.

"Yes, me and Hanni are currently on the road as we speak. She also can hear you by the way. So, why are you calling me, Liz? Any problems going on?" Y/n explained as he asked what Liz was up to again. Knowing his sister, she could say any random thing and it will actually end up to be true.

"Well, you know that show where Yujin is the host? Y'know where she interviews people? The episode where I'm a special guest! It's out now on YouTube. No excuses, you didn't stream my newest song so the best you could do is at least watch or listen to the interview." Liz complained.

"Fine... I'll watch it here with Hanni..." Y/n sighed in defeat as the two girls chuckled.

"Alright, I got to go now, oppa! Hope you enjoy the show! Bye Oppa and Hanni! Drive safely." Liz said as she ended the call as Y/n gave Hanni his phone.
