Y/n, JYP, a few other rich men, and a few hundred thousand US Dollars. All in view of the table, a big rematch for Y/n and it'd be even bigger if he wins. Hanni wasn't too surprised at all by Y/n's actions; it's never him to back down in a fight. But maybe it's just his inflated ego again. After all, in poker, there's a saying: ego in poker, he go broke.
The dealer started dealing cards as the poker game commenced. Y/n was ironically in an unlucky streak, getting bad flops and turns causing him to fold most of the time. To which JYP noticed and smirked at the young businessman.
"Your hands are getting too cold, Y/n. Such a shame that your money's a-wasting." He remarked after winning 3 of the 5 previous hands.
"Hey, Y/n. Do you really know how to play? You already lost half your initial money. And you shouldn't have folded your last hand. You were actually winning in terms of probability." Hanni said, as Y/n rolled his eyes.
"Don't start with the computations, please. Anyway's watch me win with this hand. Y/n said as the dealer dealt him his cards. He looked at the first one, ten of hearts, the second one revealed to be the six of clubs. A ten-six, his favorite hand when he was still in his college days.
The others folded as it was only JYP left against Y/n on the table. JYP raised his bet on the blind, summing to quarter of Y/n's stash. Y/n called, he never folds this hand. The river showed up, seven of diamonds, nine of diamonds, and a jack of hearts. It wasn't that good of a flop for Y/n. JYP then decided to check, as Y/n made the most unpredictable move.
"I'm all in." Y/n said as the audience and Hanni audibly gasped.
"Oh, already calling it quits this early? I call." JYP said as he showed his cards revealing a jack of clubs and jack of spades. Y/n revealed his ten-six off-suite, the inferior hand. JYP had three of a kind while Y/n only had a jack-high from the flop.
"You want to call it two, three times?" JYP said, trying to taunt Y/n.
"No, just once. I know I'll win this." Y/n said as he stared blankly at his opponent.
"Y/n, you need to be extremely lucky for this one." Hanni said as Y/n nodded. The dealer then grabbed a card as the two prepared for the turn. The turn turned out to be the queen of hearts. JYP's smile grew larger, maybe not realizing that a queen card actually helps Y/n in this scenario.
"Why is he smiling? It gave you more outs as you can now form a straight now with a king and not only an eight." Hanni remarked as Y/n nodded.
"Shut up, little girl. Even if he has more outs, I still have a higher chance of winning." JYP said as he glared at Hanni.
