Kel sat on his bed thinking about himself. 'i don't do much do I? I mean I play basketball but it's not like I'm an important role...maybe they were right...what if i am useless..?' kel thought.
"Kel supper time!!" Kels mom yelled from the dining room. Kel got up from his bed and went downstairs 'im useful to someone maybe? I'm useful to Basil and my family I shouldn't be thinking that stuff!!' kel thought as he sat down at the table and started eating with his family hero was taking off an apron in the kitchen then sat down next to kel.
"You like it Kel it's my specialty spaghetti!" Hero said "yeah it's amazing hero I wish I was as good of a cook as you!" Kel replied eating spaghetti off his fork "well I can teach you Kel!" Hero said handing him a napkin "well it would be nice for Kel to learn how to cook too! My two little helpers!" Their mom said.
After dinner everyone help cleaned up and went to their rooms. "Hey hero?" Kel said "what's up kel?" Hero replied "do you know how to deal with a crush?" Kel asked "who is it on? It really depends on the person" hero asked sitting on Kel's bed next to him.
"I think it's Basil I've been thinking about him more than everything else.." kel replied "hmmm Basil Basil maybe get him some flowers or a special gift and confess to him that way?" Hero said "I remember him telling me he liked sunny though what should I do?" Kel asked "ouch...Kel that's tough...maybe just ask him and if he rejects you I'm always here for you Kel" hero replied hugging him.
"Thanks Hero!" Kel said hugging him back. "Anything for my brother" hero replied.
Kel went to sleep that night and had a bad dream "you are worthless Kelsey, who would love you." A version of Basil said he woke up sweating 'it was just a dream not reality. Basil wouldn't say that right?' kel thought he got up to wash his face and get some water Hero was still awake doing some extra credit.
It was 12 am he walked to the bathroom and splashed water on his face and in his mouth. He felt a bit better he went back to his bed and laid down. "Kel are you okay?" Hero asked "yeah you know me!" Kel chuckled. "If you say so..." Hero replied.
Kel fell back asleep.
