Di-Di-Di: Digimon Lotus, Book 1: New Gen of Tamers

Tomi has made it to Akihabara and continues walking through the street. As she is walking, the same cat creature kept on following her from the distance within the crowd of people. After a few minutes of walking, Tomi has made it to the burger restaurant front entrance.

Tomi turns off her music and puts away her earphones. The cat creature hides behind a sign watches as Tomi enters the store.

With Tomi enters the store, she hears some pop music on the wall speaker and he sees the owner of the shop just working on a vintage computer.

(Tomi) "Hey dad."

The owner turns around whose name is Susumu.

(Susumu) "Ah, welcome back! So, how's school?"

Tomi looks at the vintage computer that Susumu is working on.

(Tomi) "School's fine. I see you're still stuck in the '90s... hope the computer's not running on dial-up too."

Susumu chuckles.

(Susumu) "Not quite dial-up, but it's got character. Just like me. How's that for vintage?"

Tomi laughs back.

(Tomi) "Good one."

Susumu turns off the computer and stands up from the chair.

(Tomi) "Just closing up?"

(Susumu) "Yeah, am getting tired."

(Tomi) "Well who is the last customer?"

(Susumu) "Who is a lady who is talking about the Madoka Magica wishing cat modal."

(Tomi) "Did you tell her not to make a wash to it?"

(Susumu) "Yeah I did."

(Tomi) "Great... I be up."

(Susumu) "Alright honey."

Tomi heads out of the restaurant entrance and enters through the door that leads up to the apartment while his dad closes up the shop. Tomi enters through her apartment walking pass her mother whose name is Yuuko while she is cooking.

(Yuuko) "Welcome back honey!"

(Tomi) "Hi mum!"

She waved to her before entering her bedroom. After she enters the bedroom, Tomi puts away her school bag, then she begins to remove her school uniform. After slipping into her comfortable sweatpants and tank top, she joined her parents at the dinner table. The familiar warmth of the kitchen wrapped around her as she sat down, the savory aroma of melted cheese filling the air. Just as she settled in, Yuuko appeared from the kitchen, balancing a tray laden with plates.

Yuuko smiled as she approached. 

(Yuuko) "I hope you two are excited because we're having Macaroni Gratin tonight,"

She announced, her eyes sparkling with pride. Tomi's stomach growled in response. 

(Tomi) "Sounds delicious." 

She said, his mouth already watering at the thought. With a careful hand, Yuuko placed the steaming plates before each of them, the golden crust of the gratin still bubbling. 

(Yuuko) "Let's dig in." 

She said with a satisfied grin. Tomi exchanged a quick glance with Susumu before they both eagerly picked up their forks. The first bite was a burst of creamy, cheesy comfort, and Tomi couldn't help but let out a small, contented sigh.

(Tomi) "This is amazing."

She said between bites, savoring the rich flavors. 

(Tomi) "It reminds me of that time we had gratin at Grandma's house."
