[ Episode 8 | The Missing ]

Inside the bakery, Guilmon is sitting on the table eating some bread that Echo and Da-Xia gave. As Guilmon is eating some bread, Tomi and the rest of her group are staring... still in shock that Guilmon is the Royal Knight of Gallantmon.

(Saki) "You're telling me... Is this Gallantmon? He's just a goofy Red Reptile Digimon."

(Echo) "Oh trust us Saki... this is Gallantmon but in Rookie form."

(Tomi) "Why haven't you told me?"

(Guilmon) "You never asked me."

(Meicoomon) "He has a point."

(Guilmon) "But I do want to say... thank you for rescuing me."

(Tomi) "Your welcome..."

(Jiro) "Actually Tomi... you meant to say this."

Jiro walks up and takes a bow.

(Jiro) "Your welcome... Royal Knight Guilmon."

Guilmon chuckles.

(Guilmon) "That's very formal of you."

(Echo) "Mister Guilmon... am very glad you are alright."

(Guilmon) "Barely, they almost stole all of the data from my body."

(Tsubaki) "Any idea why they wanted your data?"

(Guilmon) "They must be planning to try to take my power of Gallantmon. So I will never use it again."

(Da-Xia) "Can you still?"

(Guilmon) "No, they manage to take the power of Gallantmon. A longer, if you didn't save me in time... I would have disappear forever." 

(Tomi) "Well that's just great..."

(Guilmon) "But luckily I can still eat my bread."

(Echo) "Yeah, is not the same after what happened at the Capital City in the Digital World."

(Tomi) "Speaking of that... Guilmon do you remember what happened in the Capital City?"

Guilmon finishes the last piece of the bread.

(Guilmon) "The Capital City... it was days ago before the Virus Cross Army was able to get to the real world."

Flashback Begins...

"Amaterasu got a message from the Virus Cross Army that on the night of the 4th on the same month will be a war."

"The D-Brigade got involved to fend off the enemy."

"On the same night, they're at the gates of the city."

Guilmon walks past the camps of where the D-Brigade is at. As he walks over seeing that they are preparing for the fight. He climbs up on the ladder to the top of a watchtower as he sees a Guilmon looking though the scope.

(Guilmon) "171..."

Commandramon turns around.

(Commandramon) "Royal Knight..."

He gave the scope of Guilmon to look through. Guilmon sees the rest of the army are at the gates of the city. He slowly puts them down with his jaw dropped.

(Guilmon) "That's... so many of them."

(Commandramon) "Luckily, we have all the citizens in the city to evacuate though the hidden tunnels."

(Guilmon) "What about Amaterasu and the two agents?"

(Commandramon) "Somewhere else. For the agents, they are with the citizens along with Wizardmon."
