In the same diner, the atmosphere becomes tense, the shock of the officer's words weighing heavily on the group. Tomi's heart races, her mind struggling to comprehend the situation. First her parents, then the rest of her friend's parents. She notices Meicoomon growling softly in her satchel, her usually calm demeanor replaced with a protective stance.

(Tomi) "Kidnapped? How? Why would someone do that?"

The first officer glances at his partner, his expression hardening. His hand flickers again, more noticeably this time, as he steps closer to the table.

(Police Officer 1) "We're still investigating the details, but it's crucial that you all come with us immediately. We need to ensure your safety."

Tsubaki, ever the observant one, narrows her eyes at the officer. She leans in, whispering to Yui, who nods subtly.

(Tsubaki) "Something's off. Did you see that flicker? And why are they so insistent on taking us somewhere without giving any details?"

Tomi hears that whisper which she subtly reaches into her satchel, ready to grab her Digivice if necessary. Meanwhile, Saki, not one to be patient in tense situations, stands up abruptly, her feet screeching against the floor.

(Saki) "This doesn't feel right. If our parents were kidnapped, why would you come for us first instead of hunting down the kidnappers?"

The second officer's expression darkens, and for a moment, his face glitches, revealing a distorted, digital-like image beneath. Tomi gasps, realizing the officers aren't what they seem. Meicoomon, sensing the danger, ready to leap out of the satchel, ready to defend her partner. Tomi's friends notices this.

(Yui) "Ah sir... your face... flickered a bit."

(Police Officer 2) "You're coming with us. Now."

At that moment, the glitch in the officer's hand spreads across his entire body, revealing his true form... a dark, humanoid figure with glowing red eyes, something more digital than human. The other "officer" quickly follows suit, revealing the same unsettling appearance.

(Saki) "RUN!!! THEY'RE A GHOST AND A COUPLE OF BITCH!!!"

Chaos erupts in the restaurant as Tomi and her friends scramble to their feet, the strange digital entities advancing toward them. With Meicoomon leading the charge, the group bolts for the exit, the sound of shattering glass and digital distortion echoing behind them and Mai screaming. They know they can't stay there, but they also realize they can't outrun these mysterious figures forever.

As they race through the streets, Tomi's mind is a whirlwind of thoughts. Who or what were those impostors? Why were their parents targeted? And most importantly, how can she stop this new threat that seems to blur the lines between the digital and real worlds?

The only thing she knows for sure is that they need to find a safe place to regroup and figure out their next move before it's too late...

They got to a small playground where it is empty. They all hunker down and catch their breath after all the running.

(Mai) "What the fuck is that?!"

(Yui) "I swear... that face don't look right."

(Jiro) "They...  like digital."

(Tsubaki) "Like, something from a video game?"

(Saki) "Is not from a video game... is from the fucking Digital World."

They look at Saki.

(Yui) "What?"

Meicoomon walks up checking on the group.
