[ Episode 1 | A Girl, A Cop, and the Digimon Part 2 ]

At the bar, Daiki is drinking with his two friends who are Yara the paramedic and Chiro the firefighter. They are laughing at Yara's joke with the drinks on there hands.

(Chiro) "That's really funny Yara!"

(Yara) "Thanks! The nurse told me that!"

(Daiki) "So Chiro, how are the other firefighters at the station?"

(Chiro) "Oh just took care of a small fire at the house at Odaiba."

(Yara) "How small is it?"

(Chiro) "Just around the BBQ."

(Yara) "Remind me of that game I played."

(Daiki) "What about you Yara?"

(Yara) "A car accident... poor man broke his arm."

(Chiro) "Damn really?"

(Daiki) "That sounds rough. Was it a bad accident?"

(Yara) "Yeah, it was pretty bad. The car flipped over on the highway. We had to cut him out of the wreckage."

(Chiro) "That's intense. Glad you were there to help."

(Yara) "It's part of the job, you know? You just do what you can."

(Daiki) "Still, it must be tough seeing that kind of thing."

(Yara) "It can be, but you learn to cope. You have to, or it gets to you."

(Chiro) "Yeah, we've all got our ways of dealing with the stress."

(Daiki) "What do you do, Chiro? To unwind after a tough day?"

(Chiro) "Honestly? I like to hit the gym. Lifting weights helps me clear my mind."

(Yara) "That's a good one. I usually just binge-watch some shows, something light and funny."

(Daiki) "For me, it's music. I just put on my headphones and lose myself in it."

(Yara) "We all have our ways. It's important to find something that works."

(Chiro) "Absolutely. Speaking of which, how about another round? I think we've earned it."

(Daiki) "I'm in! Cheers to us and all the crazy days we get through."

(Yara) "Cheers!"

(Chiro) "Cheers!"

All three clink their glasses together, smiling and enjoying the moment. But Daiki here is feeling an uneasy.

(Chiro) "You okay pal?"

(Daiki) "Not really... I just met the investigator at the incident at Akihabara station."

(Yara) "Oh yeah, they demoted you."

(Chiro) "Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?"

(Daiki) "Look, am going to be okay. I just need to prove myself."

(Yara) "You already did."

(Daiki) "Well I humiliated the entire department. All they give me is the cold shoulder."

 (Chiro) "Are you sure you don't want to talk about how you get demoted?"

(Daiki) "I told you... am fine."

Daiki drinks his beer cup swallowing all it down. Then place it hard on the table.

(Chiro) "Alright fine... suit yourself."

Then Daiki's phone rings.

(Daiki) "Time for my shift."

(Yara) "Alright bye!"
