We won our game tonight and i have something special planned for alexis.

i've been wanting to take her on a date and talk about us. it's honestly so hard to keep my hands off her knowing she feels the same as i do to her.

so tonight needs to happen or i'm gonna loose my cool. we've been through so much to get to where we are today and i can't let her go now.

everyone is spread throughout the locker room chatting and getting dressed to head out. "sleepover tonight?" i hear kk ask from across the room.

everyone slowly begins to throw in ideas for tonight but i had my sights locked in on alexis. meaning once i was finished changing, i walked up to her.

i lean next to her locker and observe. "yes paige? you're staring is getting real distracting. i'm trying to change." i just smile at her.

"do you wanna go on a date with me tonight?" once those words leave my mouth, it's as if they were for the whole locker room to answer.

because everyone...and i mean everyone stopped what they were doing and looked our way. my eyes though, my eyes stay trained on alexis.

who actually looks at me with wide eyes and flushed cheeks. "i- a date? like for real? no bullshit?" i smirk at her and nod my head.

"fuck that where the cameras?" she looks around making me chuckle. i grab her shoulders and turn her back to me. "i'm serious alexis. i want to take you out on a date tonight." i tell her in a tone that says im not kidding, please go on a date with me.

or..that's what i was thinking.

lexi smiles wide at me. "of course i'll go on a date with you paige." she softly replies, and holds my cheek.

instead of savoring the moment, im brought back to reality of, we're still in the locker room with our teammates.

who by no surprise at all, start to cheer. "wooohoooo!" nika and aaliyah begin to jump up and down.

"finally! i thought i was gonna have to set up a fake blind date for yall are something" my best friend says.

"shit me too. had me thinking i wasn't gonna see this happen my whole four years!" kk exaggerates.

"oh hush kk, we weren't even that bad." lexi chimes in as she finishes getting changed. "no you're right.."ice adds. "thank you ice- y'all were fucking horrendous." she cuts her off.

i roll my eyes and flip her off not finding it as funny as everyone else. even though it was a tad bit funny but i would never admit that.

"ha. ha. you ready to go? i would like to change into a better outfit." lexi comments looking down at her clothes.

she's wearing some gray sweatpants, a cropped tank w/ a black jacket. "you look good ma. no need to change." i respond and grab her hand.

"we'll see yall back at the dorms later tonight." i call out to the rest of the team as i drag lex out.

"make sure she can walk tomorrow!" i hear ice call out making me groan but lex laughs.

"welp, you heard the woman. don't rough me up too bad." my date smirks at me as i look back at her. "damn, there goes my plan of a fun night.." i flirt back which makes her blush.

"stop!" she hits my arm and turns away. i love seeing her blush, only when it's by me though. "right right my bad, how could i forget miss 'hard shell' doesn't like to blush. even though you look so cute when you do" i tease her more.
