[ Amara’s ]

"I don't want to see or talk to you ever again, Amara."

My heart shattered. What I wanted was for her to hate me, and it perfectly worked.

"Okay." I stepped back and smiled painfully. "Go... home." I turned my back on her and was about to lose balance, but immediately held onto the side of the sink. I was really dizzy.

I saw her just watching me, thinking about what to say next. A lot of thoughts were coming into my mind. First, why the hell is she here? And second, why does she have a freaking criminal law book with her in a bar?

"What are you waiting for? Go home." I looked at her through the mirror.

"Are you alone?" Wow, she was asking me. I thought she just didn't want to talk to me.

"Why would I come here alone?" I raised my eyebrows, but I still looked nicer.

"I'm asking you; you shouldn't turn the question on me," she immediately answered. Grabe, palaban.

"So? You said you don't want to talk to me anymore; why did you ask? Your way to make our conversation longer?" Tuloy-tuloy kong pagsagot na kalmado.

"Okay, fine," she sighed. "Take care, whatever you're planning to do." She immediately walked away.

I sighed heavily and looked at myself in the mirror. Why are we doing this to ourselves? It's... difficult.  It's so difficult to just forget her. My greatest love.

"Get your shit up, Amara. You caused the pain. It should've worked if you didn't do it." I spoke to myself before going back to our table.

"Tagal mo! Saan ka galing?" Skylar was really loud; she was way more drunk than I was.

"Bathroom, sis, where else, ba?" I rolled my eyes.

"Baka may naka one-night-stand ka na naman!" Sadie’s vulgarised works made my eyes widen and cover her mouth.

A few minutes later, we gave up drinking too much. Galilea was already so stressed on the side.

"Paano ko kayo i-uuwi nyan?" Galilea sighed, which made me laugh.

Suddenly, I saw three familiar faces coming to our table. Galilea immediately called.

Caily, Juniper, and Maise.

What a coincidence!

"Kailangan ko na talaga ng tulong, ang bibigat nila, par," Galilea asked them. They were laughing; I couldn't hear their answers, and the music was really loud. But they ended up taking us home.

The next morning, my head felt like it was hammered. I woke up and saw a different room wall. It was dark, and there were a lot of books on a big study table.

"Bwesit na alak," I cursed to myself, at humiga nalang ulit. Hindi kinakaya na umupo.

Where the hell am I?

I heard the door smoothly opening and saw a glimpse of a red-haired woman.

Fuck.

Not again.

"Bakit dito pa ako inuwi?" I immediately talked, which made her stop walking closer to me. She brought water.

"Your room keys were gone; Caily can't take you to her home. I had no choice but to just let you in here."

My keys?!

"What?! My keys?!" Napaupo kaagad ako, hindi na naramdaman ang sakit sa ulo dahil sa kaba.

She was just staring at me with those cold eyes. She was more nonchalant than before.
