- A few days later -
Saturday
It was the weekend. It had been a few days since I received the mysterious note. I had not told anyone about it yet, but thought maybe the twins should know, just so they could be aware.
I knocked on Ariana's bedroom window. She was sitting at her desk and stood up to open it. "Red, you need to stop coming through the window. There's a reason why doors were invented"
"What's the fun in that?" I joked as I climbed inside.
She rolled her eyes and sat down on her bed. She started texting someone and five seconds later Evan walked in. "Sup, Red?" He greeted me.
I raised my eyebrow. "How lazy are you two? Your bedrooms are literally next to each other"
"It's a twin thing" they said in unison, something they often did. "So what did you want to show us?" Ariana asked.
I grabbed the note out of my bag and showed it to them. I saw their faces change as they read the note.
Ariana looked up to me. "When did you get this?" Ariana asked.
"A couple days ago" I answered and her eyes widened. "A couple days ago!? Why didn't you tell us sooner?"
I shrugged. "I didn't want you guys to worry"
"Do you know who send it?" Evan asked.
I shook my head. "No. But whoever it is, I think they know my real identity. Which means there is a big change they know where I go to school, where I live, who my family is...who my friends are"
Evan let a out a nervous laugh. "Should we be worried?"
I shrugged. "I don't think so. Besides, this person is still in prison, as long as they stay there, nothing is gonna happen, right?" I said, a little nervously.
Ariana didn't look very convinced. "I hope you're right"
I sighed. I hoped I was right too. It was silent for a while after that.
"Sooo...how is it going with Chloe?" Ariana asked, obviously trying to lighten up the mood.
I blushed slightly. "What'd you mean?"
"Did you guys have sex yet?" Evan smirked.
I grabbed a pillow and threw it at his head. "No, you dumbass" I said, playfully. "We've just been working on the history assignment together. We're actually meeting again today"
Both Evan and Ariana looked at me with a mischievous grin on their face. I rolled my eyes at them, but couldn't help but smile a little.
I grabbed my phone out of my pocket to check what time it was. It was already 1:30 pm. I stood up. "I better get going, I have to be at Chloe's at 2 o'clock.
