- A few days later -
Monday
"So, you think I should just go for it?" I asked Ariana, as the two of us exited the girl's locker room, heading towards the gymnasium.
"Totally!" She answered immediately.
I was a little hesitant about the idea. The twins, well mostly Ariana, had been dying to know what happened after me and Chloe left the party.
I had told the twins about what happened with me and Chloe after we left the party and now they are trying to make me ask her out. For two people who know me better than anyone else, they sure aren't familiar with my social skills.
"I don't know" I was still a little skeptical, "maybe I should just wait for a sign"
"So her wanting to kiss you is not a clear enough sign for you?" By the tone I knew she was making fun of me.
As we entered the gymnasium I noticed that there were twice as many students than usual. My eyes immediately landed on a familiar set of blue curls.
Ariana saw her as well and she turned to me with a grin. "I guess there is your sign" she whispered to me.
Chloe had spotted me too and gave me a quick wave and I awkwardly waved back.
Ariana chuckled at my awkwardness and I glared at her. "Oh, shut up" I mumbled.
I was getting tired of Ariana mocking me and I was starting to wonder where Evan was. Even though the twins were pretty much always bickering with each other, they were pretty much always together.
"Where's Evan?" I asked.
"Over there" she nodded in a direction and I followed her gaze and was quiet surprised by what I saw. Evan was standing with Jenna and they were standing pretty close to each other, laughing about something.
"I think she likes him" Ariana said, noticing the frown on my face.
"Really?"
She nodded, "after the party when Natalia dropped us off, Jenna gave him her phone number" she explained.
Damn, way the go Evan. Don't get me wrong, Evan is a good looking guy and very sweet, it's just that he is not the smartest or most athletic or the bravest guy I know, but if that is what Jenna liked, than good for him.
He saw that we were looking at him and he made his way over to us, a goofy grin plastered on his face.
"How?" Me and Ariana asked in unison.
"I don't know" Evan shrugged, still with a goofy grin on his face, "must have been my awesome dance moves at the party"
Ariana chuckled, "trust me, Jenna likes you, despite your dance moves"
Evan ignored his sister's insult and turned to me. "How is it coming along with Chloe?"
