Chapter 15 New Friends Part 2

With Keira leaving, Ash and Alice finally have some privacy to train their Pokémon and practice their Aura Weapon skills without prying eyes.

Gliscor decides to have some fun, launching a Mud Bomb at the unsuspecting couple. The mud splatters all over them, leaving Ash and Alice covered in dirt.

Ash groans, wiping the mud from his face, "Gliscor... now we're all dirty."

Gliscor gives a sheepish wink, clearly not meaning any harm, but the couple can only sigh in response. Alice chuckles softly and says, "Well, at least there's a river nearby. We can clean up there."

Ash nods in agreement, then adds with a teasing smile, "You go ahead first. I'll catch up after. I'd rather not be mistaken for a pervert."

Alice nods, appreciating his consideration, and heads towards the river. As she disappears into the trees, Ash sighs and looks at his Pokémon—Herovor, Purrlit, Budcheep, and Gliscor—all gathered around him.

"Well, since we're not battling right now, what should we do?" he muses aloud.

His Pokémon exchange curious looks before nodding eagerly, clearly up for anything. Meanwhile, Alice has already reached the riverbank. She slips out of her clothes and steps into the cool water, sighing in relief. "Compared to the icy waters of the Subhail Ice Caps, this is nothing," she murmurs, enjoying the warmth of the river.

As she relaxes, a sudden splash catches her attention. A blue, duck-like Pokémon emerges from the water, its mischievous eyes twinkling. Before Alice can react, the Pokémon sprays her with a sudden Water Gun, knocking her off balance and sending her plunging into the river.

"Hey!" Alice sputters as she surfaces, wiping water from her face. "What was that for?"

The Pokémon lets out a playful laugh, clearly enjoying its prank. Determined, Alice tries to catch the swift creature, but it's too fast for her, darting through the water like a streak of blue lightning.

"You've really done it now..." Alice mutters, her eyes narrowing with determination. Channeling her Aura, she forms her Electric Razor, the energy weapon crackling with power in her hand as she prepares to turn the tables on her aquatic adversary.

Ash and his Pokémon are chatting, enjoying the quiet moment, until Pikachu's ears perk up. He notices electricity crackling in the air, sparking off in the direction of the river. "That's where Alice is taking a bath," Pikachu says, concern creeping into his voice.

Ash's eyes widen in alarm. "Don't tell me Alice got hit by an Electric-type move!" he gasps, immediately sprinting toward the lake with Pikachu and the other Pokémon in tow.

As they arrive at the riverbank, they find Alice standing over the fainted blue duck Pokémon, her Electric Razor still dissipating its energy. She looks down at the unconscious Pokémon with a mixture of satisfaction and irritation. "That'll teach you not to mess with me," she mutters.

"Alice? What's going on here?" Ash's voice startles her, and she quickly grabs her wet clothes, covering herself as best she can.

Ash rushes to her side, his worry evident. "Are you okay?"

Alice sighs, her expression softening. "That Pokémon ruined my bath, so I decided to give it a little lesson with the Electric Razor. Sorry if I made you worry."

Ash glances at the fainted Pokémon, then pulls out his Pokédex to scan it. The device whirs to life, identifying the mischievous creature.

Ugling: The Ugly Duck Pokemon: Water and Flying Type. Because of its undeveloped wings, it is unable to fly. It's very skilled at swimming though, as it can dive for over 10 minutes to hunt.
