Chapter 21 Thundrome Pass Part 1

With Delia now accompanying them, Ash and Alice have stepped up their training, focusing not just on their Pokémon but on themselves as well. The atmosphere is charged with determination as they push each other to new heights.

"Budcheep, use Echoed Voice again!" Ash commands, his voice steady and confident.

The small, vibrant Budcheep responds with a resonating cry, sending out waves of sound that crash into the Hamstar scurrying in the wild. The attack is effective, and Hamstar collapses, fainted.

"Good work, Budcheep," Ash praises, his voice filled with pride.

Budcheep chirps in delight, and suddenly, its body is enveloped in a radiant white light. Ash watches in awe as his Pokémon begins to evolve. The light intensifies, and when it finally fades, Budcheep is no longer the small bird it once was. In its place stands a sleek, white bird with a striking yellow head.

"Wow, Budcheep—you evolved!" Ash exclaims, his excitement palpable. He quickly embraces his newly evolved Pokémon, the bond between them stronger than ever.

With a smile, Ash pulls out his Pokédex, eager to learn more about his evolved companion.

Budcherp: The Budgie Pokemon: Normal and Flying Type. Evolved from Budcheerp at LV:15. Budcherp are capable of limited human speech through mimicry, often speaking phrases to warn or alert people of potential nearby threats.

"Wow, so you can talk like Meowth?" Ash asks, his eyes wide with amazement as he stares at Budcherp.

The newly evolved Pokémon tilts its head, seemingly pondering the question before replying, "I... don't know..."

Delia chuckles softly, her voice warm and encouraging. "Well, you were just speaking in human words, Budcherp. That's really a good start!"

"Seriously?" Alice chimes in, her tone laced with curiosity. "But how are we supposed to know for sure? We can already communicate through Aura."

Delia nods thoughtfully, her experience as an Aura user coming into play. "You two may be able to use Aura, but I'm still a Pokémon—so I can sense the difference. It's definitely not just Aura; Budcherp really spoke."

With the excitement of Budcherp's evolution and newfound ability still fresh in their minds, the group decides to take a well-deserved rest. Ash carefully prepares Pokémon food, ensuring each of his companions gets their share for refreshment. He watches them with affection, his eyes eventually landing on Lavenseed, who is soaking up the sunlight with contentment.

"How are you feeling, Lavenseed?" Ash asks, his voice gentle as he approaches the Pokémon.

Lavenseed turns to him with a bright, happy smile, clearly enjoying the warmth of the sun. But before Ash can respond, Lavenseed begins to glow, the light growing brighter with each passing second.

Ash and the others watch in amazement as Lavenseed undergoes a transformation. When the light finally fades, Lavenseed stands before them, now evolved into a new form.

"Great, you evolved too!" Alice exclaims, her excitement mirroring Ash's earlier reaction. The joy of seeing their Pokémon grow stronger brings a sense of accomplishment to the group, solidifying their bond even further.

Lavenbelle: The Lavender Pokemon: Grass and Fairy Type. Evolved from Lavenbelle at LV:15. Lavenbelle emanate an aroma from their skin. Because of this, their fallen petals are often used in perfumes and aromatherapy.

"Great, now you're looking even better," Ash says, admiring Lavenseed's new form with a proud smile.

Delia nods approvingly, her knowledge of Pokémon evolution coming into play. "You know, the way to let her evolve again is by teaching her Teeter Dance. Once she masters that move, she'll be ready for her next evolution."
