As Ash enters the waiting room, he's surprised to see familiar faces waiting for him. Alice stands beside his family, and to his astonishment, even Dawn, Serena, Lillie, and others have arrived to cheer him on. The sight of everyone there fills him with warmth and determination.
Alice steps forward first, smiling brightly. "Ash, you've got this. You've trained so hard, and I know you'll give it your all out there. Just remember, no matter what happens, I'm proud of you. Stay focused, trust in your Pokémon, and have fun."
Red, Ash's father, places a reassuring hand on his son's shoulder. "Ash, you've grown into an incredible trainer. Watching you on this journey is an honor. You've faced so many challenges and come out stronger every time. We're all here, believing in you, so go out there and show them what you're made of."
Serena smiles softly, her voice full of encouragement. "Ash, you inspire so many people, including me. I know you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Just remember, we're all cheering for you, and we believe in you. Stay strong and keep pushing forward."
Lillie steps up next, her eyes shining with admiration. "Ash, your determination and kindness have always been your greatest strengths. I know you'll bring that same energy to the battlefield. We're all behind you, so go out there and give it everything you've got!"
As they watch the battles unfold on the screen, Rodney fidgets with excitement. "So... it seems Group A is close to the end! I'm in the next group, Ash! I'm so excited! Do you think I can make it to the next round?"
Ash smiles encouragingly. "I think you can, Rodney. You've trained hard, and you're ready for this."
Rodney beams. "Thank you so much, Ash!" Just then, the announcer's voice echoes through the waiting room, revealing that Group B is up next. Rodney's eyes light up with determination. "Oh, it's time to go! I'm going to win this group no matter what! See you later, Ash!"
With a final nod, Rodney heads out to the battlefield, full of confidence. As he leaves, Rick saunters back into the waiting room, a smug grin plastered on his face. "Ah, that group was so easy... I won without a problem! Now I'm here to watch the defeat of orangina, haha!"
His arrogant attitude doesn't sit well with the others. Serena frowns, turning to Ash. "Who's that guy? He has such a bad attitude."
Delia sighs, shaking her head slightly. "That's Rick, Lizzy's brother. He's had that attitude toward my son for a while now. Just ignore him. Ash has already beaten him plenty of times."
Ash remains calm, unfazed by Rick's taunts. He knows that actions speak louder than words, and the real test will be on the battlefield.
As the announcement for Group C's results is made, Rodney comes rushing into the resting room, a huge grin on his face. "I've won my group! I can't believe it! I hope you and Keira make it to the quarterfinals as well!"
Ash smiles at Rodney's excitement, but his focus shifts to Keira, who seems to be feeling the pressure. "So... it's time to get prepared, Ash," Keira says, taking a deep breath. "I wish you all the best in your battles, but I promise our battle won't be easy for you!"
Ash nods, appreciating her determination. "I guess so. Let's all do our best."
The anticipation builds as the Group C battles conclude. Suddenly, they hear the announcement they've been waiting for: "All participants of Group D, please come to the stadium!"
Ash and Keira exchange a final look, a mix of camaraderie and competitive spirit. With that, they head out of the resting room and make their way to the stadium, ready to face whatever challenges await them.
