The next day, Ash and Alice meet up with Gina, Delia, and Red as they head south toward Route 14. The morning sun casts a warm glow over the path ahead, and the group chats excitedly about the journey. However, their attention is soon captured by an unusual sight—a Pokémon that looks remarkably like a bullet streaks across the ground in front of them.
"What is that?" Ash asks, his eyes wide with curiosity. The Pokémon's sleek, metallic body gleams in the light, catching everyone's attention.
Delia smiles knowingly. "That is Hamawl. Just look at its body, and you'll know it's a Steel Type."
"That's so cool," Ash remarks, his excitement evident in his voice. Without wasting a moment, he calls out to Pikachu. "Let's see if we can add it to our team!"
The battle that follows is intense, with Hamawl putting up a strong defense. But with Pikachu's agility and a well-timed Thunderbolt, Ash manages to weaken the Pokémon enough to capture it. The Pokéball shakes once, twice, and then clicks shut.
Ash grins as he picks up the Pokéball, feeling a surge of pride. "Gotcha!"
Hamawl: The Hammerhead Pokémon. Steel and Water Type. Hamawl smash rocks on the seabed open to find prey living within. Their eyelids are coated in steel to protect them from impact when hammering rocks.
Alice chuckles softly as she watches Ash. "I just hope it doesn't try to hit the Pokéball from the inside."
The group shares a lighthearted laugh, the atmosphere buoyant with their shared victory. With their new companion in tow, they continue on their journey, eager to see what other surprises Route 14 has in store.
As Ash and the group walk along Route 14, they notice a Pokémon standing in front of them. The creature seems to fix its gaze on Alice for a moment, its eyes filled with an unreadable expression. After what feels like an eternity, the Pokémon silently turns and leaves.
"What was that?" Ash asks, his curiosity piqued.
Delia replies, "That was Healthia, the Legendary Pokémon! It's known as the Growth Pokémon. It has the ability to grow plant life in desolate places with just a single touch."
Red nods, adding, "That's why those flowers appeared there. In fact, all of the flowers in this area were created by Healthia. This place is said to be where it lives. Isn't that wonderful?"
"It sure is," Ash agrees, but his curiosity lingers. "But why was it staring at Alice?" He glances over at Alice and notices that she's lost in thought. Concerned, he asks, "Alice? Are you okay?"
"Oh, Ash," Alice responds, snapping back to reality. "I just wonder if we'll ever get the chance to see it again..."
Ash smiles reassuringly. "I know we can."
With that, the group continues forward, the encounter with Healthia fresh in their minds as they make their way toward the Whisper Tunnel.
Once inside the Whisper Tunnel, Ash and his group continue their training. They soon come across an Air Stone, which Ash eagerly gives to Nimblow. The stone glows brightly, and Nimblow evolves into a stronger Pokémon.
Cirribus: The Cloud Pokémon. Flying Type. Evolved from Nimblow with an Air Stone. Cirribus live very far up in the atmosphere. On rare occasions, masses of Cirribus join together to form massive storm clouds capable of great devastation.
As Cirribus uses Rain Dance on Ash, a mischievous grin spreads across its face. Ash sighs, knowing Cirribus loves to play pranks. "Let's continue," he says, recalling Cirribus back into its Pokéball. They press on, training with Wormune, which soon evolves into a bigger Pokémon.
