*Addi's POV*

I nestled comfortably on the living room couch, with a warm blanket draped over my lap as I immersed myself in my favorite chapter book. The story captivated me as the words were dancing in my mind, when, suddenly, a soft melody began to fill the air. I paused as my curiosity piqued and looked up to see Edward at the grand piano, with his fingers gliding effortlessly over the keys as he played a beautiful serenade.

Intrigued by the hauntingly sweet notes, I set my book aside and got up from the couch. I quietly made my way over to the piano, drawn in by the elegant music that seemed to resonate with my very soul. Edward's expression was one of deep concentration while his eyes were closed as he lost himself in the melody.

When he finally finished, the last note hung in the air like a delicate whisper. I clapped softly as a bright smile was spreading across my face. "That was amazing, Edward. Your playing is beautiful." Edward opened his eyes and turned to me, with a modest smile gracing his lips. "Thank you, Addi. I wrote it for Bella." He replied, warmly yet tinged with a hint of nostalgia.
I nodded, understanding the significance behind the piece. "It really is lovely. You have such a gift for music." I complimented, as I took a moment to appreciate the delicate ambiance in the room, feeling the warmth of the moment wrapping around me like a cozy blanket.

"Music has always been a way for me to express my feelings." Edward said, his gaze drifting back to the piano. "It helps me connect with those I care about." He added. I watched him for a moment, sensing the depth of his emotions. "You definitely have a way of making people feel special. Bella is lucky to have you in her life." I said, softly. Edward's expression softened and he replied, "I'm lucky to have her, too. And I'm grateful for the bond we all share in this family." I smiled in response.

"Do you play the piano?" He asked. I nodded, a smile before I answered, "I do. My mother taught me when I was little. It was one of her favorite things to do with me. I haven't played in a long time, but I still remember some music I used to play all the time." "That's wonderful. Would you play something for me?" Edward asked, as he scooted over on the bench to make room for me.

Feeling a mix of excitement and nerves, I hesitated for a moment until I finally made my decision as settled down in the spot next to Edward. I glanced at the keys, letting my fingers hover above them as the memories of my childhood flooded back. After a brief pause, I thought of my favorite choir song, "Birdsong" by Paul Read—a piece that had always stirred something deep within me.

Taking a deep breath, I positioned my fingers over the keys. As the first notes emerged, a sense of calm washed over me as the melody filled the room, bright and airy. I began to hum along with the music as my voice blended harmoniously with the piano, adding an extra layer of emotion to the piece.

As I played, my music drew the attention of the entire Cullen family. One by one, they gathered in the living room, captivated by the enchanting performance. The soft glow of the room and the warmth of the moment seemed to pull them in, each member of the family sharing in the joy of my artistry. I let the music and my humming guide me, each note flowing effortlessly as I poured my heart into the piece. The piano seemed to come alive under my touch and I felt a connection not just to the music but to the moment itself.

When I finished playing, the final notes lingered in the air and I looked over at Edward. His expression was one of awe while his eyes shining with appreciation. "That was beautiful, Addi. You have a real talent." He said, with his voice filled with genuine admiration. "Thank you. It's one of my favorites. I always loved how it captures the essence of freedom and joy." I replied, with my cheeks warming at the compliment.
