The day of the concert

Kayla and I arrived at the venue Joost was playing at tonight. We showed our VIP card to the security at the door and he let us inside. We walked backstage and I saw Joost talking to Martijn and Apson. Joost's eyes widened when he noticed Kayla and me walking towards him, a smile immediately spreading across his face. He excused himself from the conversation with Martijn and Apson and quickly made his way over to us. "Hey, you made it!" he said, his voice filled with enthusiasm and affection. "I'm so glad you're here." "Of course, wouldn't miss it for the world." I said and gave him a kiss. Joost heart fluttered as I kissed him, his lips lingering against mine for just a little bit longer. He smiled against my lips, his eyes filled with affection. "I'm really glad to hear that." He murmured, the sound of Martijn and Apson snickering behind us, earned him a slight flush on his cheeks.

Kayla cleared her throat.

Joost reluctantly pulled away from me, both of our faces still flushed as he glanced at Kayla's direction. He gave her a sheepish smile, his hand instinctively coming up to rub the back of his neck. "Hey Kayla," he said, his voice carrying a hint of embarressment. "How are you?" Kayla raised an eyebrow, giving Joost a playful smirk. "I'm just dandy," she said, the sarcasm in her tone making it clear she was teasing him. "Though I'd be a lot better if you stopped making out with my best friend for a minute." I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Oh, shut up you, I see Martijn over there, he's eyeing you up and down girl, the date must have gone well." Kayla's cheeks immediately turned pink at my words, her attention shifting towards Martijn. She tried to hide her flustered reaction, but it was clear that my comment had thrown her off guard.

"He's not-" She protested weakly, her eyes darting over to where Martijn was standing. Her protest was cut short when she noticed I was right. Martijn was indeed watching her, a subtle smile playing on his lips as his eyes roamed over her form. Kayla's cheeks flushed further, a mixture of shyness and excitement in her expression. "Go talk to him, my god you're such a teenage girl." I said teasing her. Kayla huffed at my comment, her cheeks still tinged with a faint blush. She shot me a mock glare before glancing back at Martijn. "Fine," she said, her voice trying to sound nonchalant. "But only because I want to, not because you're telling me to."

I chuckled as she walked away and turned my attention back to Joost. "Hey." Joost glanced back at me, his eyes softening as he focused his attention on me. "Hey.' He replied, his voice warm and affectionate. He took a step closer to me, his hand reaching out to brush lightly against my arm. "You ready for tonight?" I asked him. Joost smiled, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Absolutely," he replied, his voice filled with confidence. "We've been working really hard on this set, and I can't wait for you to see it." I smiled back at him. "It'll be awesome." Joost's heart warmed at my words, his hand still resting on my arm, his thumb gently tracing small circles against my skin. "I'm glad you think so," he murmured, his voice filled with a hint of pride. "It'll be even more awesome knowing you're watching." I blushed at his words. "Oh, shut it." Joost chuckled at my flustered reaction, his smile growing wider. He loved to see me blush, especially when it was because of something he said.

"You know I'm just being honest," he teased, his voice filled with affection. "I'll have the hottest girl in the crowd to impress." I chuckled and leaned into him. Joost's arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer against him. He leaned in, his lips brushing against my ear as he spoke. "And I'll be sure to give you a private show afterwards." He teased, his voice low and filled with a suggestive edge. I slapped his chest gently. "Naughty." Joost chuckled at my reaction, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He caught my wrist in his hand, his fingers gently curling around it. "You know you love it." He said, his eyes filled with a mix of amusement and desire.
