That evening Borg had gotten settled into his new room. Pixal was satisfied if you could even call it that, more like indifferent with just about anything. Pixal made breakfast and lunch for him like usual. The day had been mostly uneventful. Borg kept mostly to himself designing something or tinkering with something else. Borg had finished or at least paused what he was doing and asked her to help him into the lobby. Pixal did as he said and awaited what he would say next. Borg didn't say anything to her surprise; he wheeled himself to the front of the building and Pixal followed him on instinct. He paused at the front doors of the building. The double doors opened automatically and who Pixal assumed was an energy worker walked inside.

"Mr. Borg, we need to speak with you-" the man paused and stared behind Borg at Pixal. Borg seemed to move in front of her and the man continued. "-About the power..."

Borg nodded "Of course."

Pixal silently watched as Borg followed the man outside the double doors and into a van that seemed to be from the energy tower. She wasn't sure why she was left behind but she didn't ask any questions. The double doors closed and Pixal sat by herself in the large tower. She figured she was supposed to await any visitors that would happen to come by. She sat herself at a large desk in the front of the tower. She felt nothing different than usual but she did wish that there was some form of life she could observe. Everything in this city that she saw was the same as her; created by man. There were no trees or grass, just technology. Pixal found the most interest in watching people who happened to walk in front of the building. They usually stared with what she could recognize as curiosity at the large building. No one could see her inside, the windows were tinted. She could see them but they couldn't see her.

She waited for Borg to come back not wanting to do something she wasn't supposed to, she stayed at the desk. He never gave her specific instructions which made it a little harder to figure out exactly what she was supposed to do. She decided this would be like the one time she was left at the manor herself. She would just clean up around here and perhaps Borg would praise her when he got back. Not like that mattered anyway he hardly seemed to notice her work. So she began cleaning anyway it was a sort of habit as she preferred to keep things organized. Borg had been gone for a few hours and when he came back through the double doors the first floor of Borg Tower was spotless. Pixal stood at the door waiting for him to come inside. She felt useful when she was able to be by his side like he insisted.

"Ah Pixal you cleaned up the place I see." Borg mentioned.

Pixal gave a slight nod and Borg didn't say anything else.

Another civilian walked through the automated double doors and began speaking with him.

"Mr. Borg I wanted to give you a tour of the building. I helped with the building of it and there are somethings I need to go over with you." The person who Pixal assumed was a construction worker said.

"Of course I'll be right with you." Borg responded.

Pixal seemed taken aback as Borg went in the elevator with this man but without her. She didn't know what else to do.

'Did Borg no longer need her anymore? What could she possibly do where she was useful? She wasn't a human, she was something else. If Borg didn't need her, who did? Why was she being left out of these conversations? Did he try to hide her from others? Was Borg ashamed of her?'

Pixal shook off her thoughts there was no need to overthink about this. Clearly Borg just needed to do something by himself; she didn't need to overreact about such a thing. The sky had begun to get dark but Borg hadn't come back to the ground floor. Pixal wasn't worried; she had no idea what such a thing even was. Instead she decided to go to the room that was assigned to her by Borg. People slept when the moon came out so she would go to sleep as well. Borg would call for her if he needed her and she would be there if he needed it. Since there was no indication of such thing Pixal strolled to her room.
