Pixal didn't hear everything he said but she heard enough to know that something was odd about him. She didn't see how a person could hide themselves so easily in the dining room. Maybe Borg was talking to someone on the phone. After all, his phones could reach anywhere in Ninjago and beyond. Pixal was annoyed at herself for jumping to conclusions of course he was on the phone, phones weren't even new technology she should've known better than to try to eavesdrop on him. He told her to leave him alone and she couldn't even do that for one night. She let out a sigh and took the dishes from the table. The table wasn't too messy but she would clean it up a bit anyway. A stray napkin caught her attention. She dumped the dishes in the sink to do them in a bit. She had a habit of making everything look neat and orderly. The napkin was out of place and probably dirty. She straightened up the table and picked up the napkin. She noticed a fold in it that wouldn't have been there if it was unused but the fold seemed strategically placed. She didn't like touching something that seemed dirty but the napkin had no stains on it.
It looked perfectly clean besides the fold. Pixal's curiosity got the best of her and she carefully began to unfold it. A beep caught her attention before she could do anything with the strange napkin however. The dishwasher was finished and she would need to put the dishes away. The technology especially for the kitchen allowed chores like washing dishes to get done in a few minutes. She didn't mind washing dishes and sometimes did it purely to take her mind off of things. Even so she decided to use it tonight just to minimize her time doing things that were unnecessary. She opened the dishwasher and a puff of steam escaped it. She shoved the napkin in her pocket because she wasn't done looking at it and if she threw it away her curiosity would've eaten away at her mind. After everything was put back in its place just like she wanted it to be she sat at her usual spot at the dining table. She moved the chair back enough so that she wouldn't mess up any of her work but enough so that she could sit on it. She unfolded the napkin a bit quicker this time so that nothing would interrupt her, not that anything would but she was a little too eager.
Pixal laughed at herself for being excited and curious to unfold a napkin of all things. Despite her feeling ridiculous she opened it anyway. Cursive writing was inside of it. She could see the fold more clearly now. It was folded how someone would fold the page of a book to mark their place. Someone left it here, like this on purpose. Borg was the only one inside the dining room. That and she recognized his handwriting. Then she remembered what he said before he left.
'I was waiting for you.'
Borg wanted her to find this napkin. It seemed ridiculous even to her but she couldn't just put it down now. She looked at it closely and read what it wrote.
'I know you're curious but stay out of this - Borg'
Pixal was taken aback. She reread what the napkin said and then crumpled it up and shoved it in her pocket. She wondered when he wrote this and if he was mad at her. Was this a nice way of telling her not to eavesdrop on him? She didn't know the napkin left her with more questions than before. She couldn't ask him about it especially if he didn't want to talk to her about whatever it was. She walked out of the dining room and noticed Borg in the lobby. It was unusual for him to still be here this late.
"Did you need something?" she asked, trying to sound as monotone as she could.
"No, I was just waiting for the software people to show up. Some of the tech workers have mentioned an issue. I'm sure it'll be fixed by morning, nothing you should worry about." Borg answered.
Pixal gave a small nod and started walking to her room. She looked back to see the screen above the entrance flash what she noticed as purple and bright yellow. When she looked at it a second time it was normal again. It just said 'Welcome to Borg Industries' like it always did. Pixal shook her head and wondered if it was possible for a droid to go insane. She read about people in history who had massive changes in personality and some said they saw things that weren't there. She read some stories where people who went insane started acting violent and unpredictable like a caged animal. She found the stories intriguing but it did make her wonder if she was going insane. Maybe she was just thinking too much into a very mild thing. Droids didn't really get tired though so she really didn't know how to explain what she saw. Pixal figured it was probably the thing that the software workers were supposed to fix. She shrugged and walked into her room. She wasn't excited to spend another night in the room where she freaked out the other night. She tried to ignore that tiny fact.
