Chapter 46

The next morning came around faster than anyone could anticipate. Changbin was spooning Felix, as they both lay comfortably in bed. That comfort would come to an end as they hear a loud knock at the door.

"Bin, open up." said Chan.

"Shit." Changbin cursed under his breath. Realizing he was still naked, Changbin quickly put on his underwear from yesterday and opened the door.

Chan stood there for a moment, eyes wide with surprise.

"Good morning Chan." Changbin said nervously with a chuckle.

Chan tried to peek inside, but Changbin kept getting in the way. "Looking for something?" Changbin asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Felix is with you, isn't he?" Chan said, his voice stern.

But before Changbin could respond, Felix spoke out. "I'm here Channie hyung." he said.

Changbin turned to see Felix already wearing his shirt and underwear, while holding his pants and socks in his hands. Felix bowed and quickly left the room, leaving Chan dumbfounded.

Chan turned to look at Changbin with an intense glare, not sure what to say to him.

Changbin scratched the back of his head. "There's nothing I can say to defend myself." he says. "It's exactly what you think."

Chan's eyes widen, and he's about to say something, but Changbin stops him. "B-but I did not fuck Felix." he says. "We just did...other things."

"Spare me the details." Chan says as he puts his hands to his waist. "So, you 2 are official?" Changbin nods, and Chan begins rubbing his temple. "You do realize what this means?"

Changbin nods. "I do." he says. "I couldn't hide my feelings for him any longer, so I asked him to be my boyfriend."

"And what about Hyunjin?" Chan asks.

Changbin sighs. "I've tried Chan." he says, tears welling up in his eyes. "But every time I try he puts his guard up. I thought I made some progress when I convinced him to join us, only for him to just take off again."

Changbin still loved and genuinely cared for Hyunjin. But, Hyunjin wasn't putting an effort to accept Changbin's help. At least not fully.

"Hyunjin has to at least meet me half way." said Changbin. "Do you understand?" Chan nods, and Changbin continues. "If Hyunjin were to call me right now and ask for help, I would help him without a second thought. But he has to make that effort Chan."

"Bin I understand you, I really do." said Chan. "But dating Felix so suddenly..."

"Look, I'm not using Felix to replace Hyunjin, Chan." Changbin interrupted. "And it's not sudden. Come on, you know I've had a crush on him since the day I met him. And you know Felix likes me too."

Chan couldn't deny it. "I'm just worried, about both of you." he said, his voice laced with concern. "You still haven't fully gotten over Hyunjin."

"And I don't think I ever will." Changbin admitted. "But I can't let the past tie me down. I have to look towards the future. If only..." Changbin's mind started to wander.

"If only what?" Chan asked.

"If only, things were different." said Changbin. "Me, Felix and Hyunjin."

"What?" Chan said, eyes wide with surprise. "The 3 of you? But Felix doesn't like Hyunjin."

"He does." Changbin clarified, and Chan's eyes now displayed shock. "He confessed that he had feelings for Hyunjin last night, when I confessed my feelings for him. Poor Lix was so confused."

"Minho...told me that he suspects that Hyunjin might like Lix." Chan said.

"What?" Changbin says, furrowing his brow with confusion. "Hyunjin never mentioned anything to me about that. Then again, he won't mention other things as well, like his father."

"Look, why don't we both take a shower and get ready for work." said Chan. "We'll discuss this along the way."

Changbin nodded and went to take a shower, while Chan went to his room to grab a change of clothes, to take a shower. As he approached the hallway shower, the door opened and Felix stepped out, a fresh change of clothes and all.

"Channie hyung." Felix said, his gaze shifting a bit nervously. "I..."

But Chan hugged his cousin before he could say anything else. "It's ok Lix. I know, and I'm fine with it."

Felix's eyes welled up with tears. "You are?" he says. "Really?"

"Of course Lix." Chan says, messing up Felix's hair as they part from their hug. "If you're happy, I'm happy."

"Thank you Channie hyung!" Felix says as he wipes away his tears and pulls Chan into a hug.

"You deserve this happiness Lix." Chan says. "But if he ever hurts you..."

"Channie hyung!" said Felix. "Binnie's not gonna hurt me. How long have you known him? You know the kind of person he is."

"I know Lix." Chan said with a smirk. "I was just teasing. Bin's a good guy. If there's anyone I would trust dating you, it's him."

Felix then heads off to his room as Chan takes a shower, then gets dressed.

The 3 of them go downstairs when they're finished getting ready and have breakfast, before heading over to Hyunjin's to drop off Felix.

Once at Hyunjin's, Jeongin greets Chan with a big hug and a kiss. "I missed you Channie." he says as he snuggles onto Chan, basking in his warmth.

"You saw me yesterday Innie." Chan says with a chuckle. "But, I missed you too."

"Don't you 2 look sweet." Jisung cooed.

"I'll see you when we get off work Lix." said Changbin. And, without giving it a second thought, he takes Felix by the chin and pulls him into a sweet kiss.

The others gasp with shock. "Did we miss something?" Jisung asks.

Both Changbin and Felix's ears turn red with embarrassment.

"Well, um." Felix says nervously. "Me and Binnie are...a couple."

Everyone's eyes go wide, but then they explode into cheers congratulating them on their status as boyfriends.

"I'm so happy for you Lixie!" Jisung says, overjoyed for his twin.

"Congratulations!" says Seungmin. "You 2 make a cute couple."

Felix's cheeks flush pink at the compliment. "Thanks Minnie." he says.

"Well, we gotta go now." says Chan. "We'll see you this evening."

"Bye." the others bade, as they then turn their attention to Felix, bombarding him with questions about Changbin's confession.

Felix was getting overwhelmed, when Minho stepped in. "All right you guys, one at a time." he says, his voice commanding. It was almost like a big brother instinct kicking in that he didn't know he had.
