The four of them lived in a small apartment which was a bit tight, but they didn't really mind. Before, they all tried to look for work, as Rose quickly found one in the motel they were staying at. Lilith would look in the papers for a job, not just for her but for them all. Then one day when Five was out, Rose took the twins out as they looked around. They ended up going to a library as there was a sign that they needed more staff.

Rose asked about it as the lady talked with all three. She found it interesting by how much knowledge they all had, considering they've never been to school. They told her that they were all homeschooled and Rose told the lady her experience she had.

Little white lie, she had no experience whatsoever. But she did study about a lot, one of them was working in a library and she found that one the most interesting. She of course, could never do that because the Handler and because the library was far from Rose when she had Jude.

The lady was also fascinated by the twins and how they were living with both medical conditions. Landon quickly learned to adapt as he had a walking stick and sunglasses since the light bothered him extremely when he was outside. Lilith took a while to adapt as she continued to sign to communicate with others. She didn't like to talk because she found it unfair that she was allowed to respond yet not able to hear others. So, she went back to her old ways and went to selective mutism.

The lady then offered them all three a job. Rose would work as a librarian assistant; Landon would work as a teacher's assistant for the classes that they have for those who are visually impaired.

The job she offered Lilith was the same as Landon but for sign language and it was at a school specifically for gifted students. The lady was hoping, as she asked Lilith if she's worked with cameras before.

Lilith said yes, making the lady happy. She also needed a photographer for her friends and herself who worked in small businesses.

They all agreed.

They've had these jobs for a couple of months and most days were stressful, but none the less the three loved their jobs.

Five got lucky in the job area as well as he started to work for the CIA, impressing Landon and Rose. Lilith was proud of Five for getting a job that she knew he would be good at. With them all having jobs and saving enough money, they got their first apartment together.

They kept in touch with their families as well, most with some while others they don't see much.

Lilith was making Swedish meatballs with Landon as he focused on the next lesson he was going to teach and Five and Rose were out working. Lilith enjoyed the peace as she focused on the food with Landon going over the work.

Then the door unlocked, revealing Rose. "Hey twins! Guess what Lila told me?" Landon patted Lilith's arm as he pointed to Rose, signing what she just said.

"Little Gracie's already crawling?" Landon asked.

"No, not yet. She's close though."

'What is it?' Lilith signed.

"Turns out, my parents are alive in this timeline."

The twins were shocked as they looked at Rose happily, "That's nice! Right?" Landon asked.

Rose nodded, smiling. "Yeah! I was able to get their number, and we talked throughout my whole lunch."

"So, what's up?"

"I told them about us." Rose said, sitting down as they looked at her. "And they said, if it's okay with you guys, if we go live with them."

Lilith's eyes widened at the news as Landon gasped. "Wow-"

"Is it too soon?" Rose asked worried. "I mean, it's my parents, who I haven't seen in years. Mostly cause they've been dead, but that's not the point-"

'It's never too soon.' Lilith signed, calming her friend down.

"What do we do?" Rose asked.

Landon's leg reached out towards Lilith as he gave her a nudge. She turned to him, holding her hand out as he reached out. He got a hold of it, as he gave traced his answer out on her arm. Lilith got his hand and traced her answer as well.

"We think it's best if we wait for Five because it is a group decision." Landon remarked.

"Of course." Rose said as Lilith served the Swedish meatballs.

"But, just in case. We voted yeah." Landon told her as Lilith smirked at Rose's face as she looked at them surprised.

"Really?" She asked, signing. They nodded, making Rose get up and hug them excited.

Once Five got home, Lilith served him as Landon and Rose sat on the couch, watching a show with an audio description.

Landon paused the movie as he and Rose got up, joining Five and Lilith. "So, Five, I have some news."

He looked up then glanced towards the three of them, "What did you guys do?"

They smirked at each other, "Nothing. But Lila got me in contact with my parents."

Five's eyes widened slightly, "Wow, congrats Rose. What'd they say?"

"Well, they asked how I was doing and all that. I talked with them my whole lunch and I told them about us and our living situation, and they asked, if it would be best if we moved in with them?"

Five stayed quiet as Lilith served him some juice, sitting next to him. Landon fidgeted with his cane as Rose watched a bit worried.

"What did you say?" He asked.

"I'd say I would ask since it's a group decision, right?"

Five hummed, taking a sip of his juice. He then dug into the food as they waited. He looked back up at them confused, "What? I thought that was a yes."

Landon smirked with Rose gasping happily and Lilith chuckled. "So, it's, okay?" Rose asked them once more. They all nodded, making the girl the most excited they've ever seen her as she went to the phone and called her parents.

'This is really good.' Five signed to Lilith, happy as he kissed her cheek.

She simply smirked, signing thank you.

The four were now living with Rose's parents as they quickly settled in. The home was very warm and lovely, and Rose's parents were extremely nice. Nick and Melody were both originally from Germany, and they moved to Belgium when they got married.

Rose was born in Belgium and the family stayed there for about a year before moving to New York. Rose couldn't be happier as she learned about her family and about herself.

Nick and Melody were extremely helpful with the twins as they had family members with the same conditions as them so they would aid the twins when needed.

Both duos shared a room as Rose told her parents that Lilith and Five were married, which made the couple excited to talk to another married couple. Especially those as interesting as Lilith and Five.

The couple didn't mind as they found it quite adorable, really. They all separately helped around the house as Lilith would help Melody and Nick cook, Landon would help clean up, Rose would buy groceries or run errands while Five helped with the bills.

Either way, the group of six living in the house couldn't be happier as their lives improved for the better.
