Five was trying to blink, Lilith played with a small orb, learning to control it and Rose was concentrating on her hand, making it invisible.
"This is strangely difficult." Rose told them. "Usually being in control is so much easier."
"We just got them a few hours ago. After six years." Five said, trying to focus.
"Funny how we've had these powers all our lives, yet we lose them for six years and suddenly we forget how to control them." Lilith commented as her purple orb got bigger. She groaned slightly, gripping her fist and trying to power down.
"Doing your Kegels in public now, are we? Doing something later you two?" Lila playfully asked the couple as she joined them. Rose scrunched her nose, taking a sip of her drink.
Lilith chuckled sarcastically, "You should give it a go."
"You know, just trying to stay limber. Not give myself deep vein thrombosis." Five informed.
"Mmm. At your guys' age, you gotta look out for that." Lila told them with Rose agreeing.
"Amongst other things." Rose added as she and Lila clinked their cups together.
The couple softly scoffed sharing a look before turning back to the sisters, "What do you want, Lila?" Five asked.
"I just wanted to say thank you. And why come at me? What about Rose?"
"What about me?" She asked.
"We dealt with her for six years." Lilith responded, glancing at a dude in an elf costume that was looking right at her. Rose gave out an offended gasp.
"Rude."
"Thank us for what?" Lilith asked, trying to ignore the elf and turning back to Lila.
"For calming down my idiot husband last night."
Lilith scoffed out a small chuckle with Five smirking and Rose looked at them confused, "What happened last night?"
"He saw Lila with us when we were at the cafe after the meeting."
"Oh!" Rose said.
"I can't believe he couldn't recognize Rose. She was right next to Lila." Five said, shaking his head with a small chuckle. Lilith joined him, "I know."
"Really?" Rose asked surprised.
Lila shrugged, "He's not the brightest."
"And Rose's disguise was obvious." Five commented. Rose turned to him, "No, it wasn't."
"Red hair? Really?" Lila asked her sister. Rose just scoffed, "Yes, red hair. Why? Because that's not my natural hair color! So, it's perfect."
