Once the van was fixed, they headed back out on the road with Diego driving and Lila in the front this time. She turned back and noticed how mostly everyone was asleep. Five and Lilith were taking a nap, Five's arm around Lilith as she cuddled into him and Rose was laying down on Landon's lap.

"Look," Lila started, "The reason that they call me Nancy is-"

"I already know."

"Know what?"

"I followed you. The other night." Diego admitted.

"You what? What, so you're spying on me now?"

"I saw you. You were in the cafe with--them."

"With who?"

"You know who. The red-haired woman, braided hair girl scout, and little Greek guy with the mustache."

Lila then started to chuckle as Diego glanced over at her, "Is that funny to you?"

"Yes, absolutely."

"You think it's amazing for the kids to know that their mommy would rather be happy with another family than her own?"

"Diego, the--red-haired woman, the braided hair girl and the little guy, is Rose, Lily and Five." She told him, as he looked at her. "Yeah, we've been undercover investigating the Keepers"

"You've been lying? And you're working undercover with the CIA?"

"And Rose and Lily." She added as he scoffed, "See, this is why I didn't tell you. You'd have some bizarre reaction."

"I'm not having a bizarre reaction."

"You're acting like I'm abandoning our family."

"It's worse." He slightly hissed. Five and Lilith were not taking a nap, they only closed their eyes for peace, and they slightly opened them, hearing the conversation.

"Okay, as much as I would love to unpack whatever this is, we have much more important things to think about."

"It's because their doing something with their lives. The CIA, especially, huh? I'm just a dumb delivery driver trying to support."

"No, Diego."

"Then why?"

"Because I needed something for myself, okay? Something other than changing diapers and wine moms and ballet class. At least you get to get outside the house every day. I'm just trapped in this unending suburban hellscape. And Rose and Lily just happened to be on the same boat with me, that's why we were uncover together."

"I mean, that's good to know. That the life we built is so bad. The life that we get to have is the worst thing."

"No-that's not what I meant."
