It was around midnight zain has just arrived in his apartment he climbed upstairs n directly went to his room n took a quick shower exiting the bathroom his eyes fell on the bracelet kept on his side table n a smile adorned his face he quickly picked it up n placed it in his almirah in a box which contained a single pearl earring a powder blue scrunchie n the new addition was this a delicate stone bracelet seeing all this took him back in time.

A patient was brought to London for her further treatment as she was in coma from last 6 months as a result a minor swelling began to develop in the back side of her brain two brilliant neurosurgeons were incharge of her named dr ismail khan and dr zain farooqi. Ismail was a senior doctor whereas Zain assisted him they shared a brotherly bond. Seeing Rumaisa's condition they were not that hopeful but Murad changed all of their theories the unwavering hope n wait they saw in his eyes talking to her for hours without expecting any reply in return , sleeping the most comfortable sleep of his life in most uncomfortable manner n that made them build up a emotional connect with rumaisa . It was a fine evening when a girl entered the hospital building cladded in a ivory coloured floor length dress hairs were neatly secured in a simple braid two strands were out from either sides n were perfectly framing her face which was void of any makeup she asked the receptionist something n directly went to room no 302 she opened door in a haste n seeing the man sitting on the stool near the hospital bed made her blood boil she quickly marched towards him n shouted 'Aap bas kyu ni kar dete please leave her alone itna kaafi h nahi aapke liye usse iss haal tak laane wale aap hai itni si baat apke samaj mein nahi ati  toh peecha chod de uska hum sab kaafi h uska khayal rakhne ke liye apki zaroorat nahi h kisi ko bhi so please just leave hamza' n he interrupted her 'maahi woh toh mein'
N she shouted 'don't maahi me ek baar mein samajh kyu nahi ata apko we aren't meant to be moreover nahi karti mein aapse mohabbat toh aap bhi move on kre life mein isn't it simple meine bhi kiya tha move on itna bhi koi mushkil nahi hota so try it once aur please mera sukoon na barbad kre jee lene de mujhe sukoon se nahi dekh sakti aapki shakal chale jaye yahan se' n just like that hamza's chapter was closed forever but in these chaos Zain fell in love with this fierce maham slowly n gradually her caring side for rumaisa, her cold demeanor for the others, her professionalism n and at last the way she threw daggers at Murad n even he got scared of her made him fall for her even harder. But all in all he didn't had the courage to approach her but as their is a saying "in the midst of darkness a light persists " n that light was Hayat Ahmed she often accompanied maham too hospital n due to her lively nature she quickly made friends n zain was one of those a month passed in their friendship n zain told everything he felt for maham to Hayat  the latter was happy for her thinking may be this could bring back life into her soulless sister.She helped him in every possible way but maham was a hard nut to crack she didn't even call him by his name because she addressed him as "Mr Farooqi" professional much but zain was not any less he loved her calling him by whatever name she wants as he loved her unconditionally but never tried to invade her space not that she will allow but still. He was a goner in her case he cherished her like a princess maham was clumsy one she often looses her accessories or other things but zain found each single missing thing n kept it safely to himself.

Next morning Hayat woke up by the constant buzzing of her phone she lazily picked it up n answered 'itni subah subah kon call karta h' n the man from side replied 'apka fiance miss hayat Ahmed but wait let me guess kahi aap ye bhi toh nahi bhool gayi ki aap engaged h' n she replied seeing the diamond ring on her finger 'nahi bhooli m aur banda bhool bhi kaise sakta jab haathon mein itni khoobsoorat ring ho aur charo taraf bodyguards ka pehra' n he said 'woh tumlog ke safety ke liye' but she interrupted him saying 'acha na haider khair ye sab chode ye bataye itni subah subah call kyu ki apne koi khaas baat' too which he replied 'khaas baat toh nahi but ye puchna madam kis khushi m dr farooqi ke saath itna ghoom rahi hai' to which  she complained 'ye aap aur maham na mr farooqi mr farooqi karna band krde itna pyaara sa naam h uska' but he piped 'pyaara naam hoga bas kyuki woh toh kahi se pyara nahi h' but she scolded him 'bas kar dein mere itna acha dost h woh aur roomi ka doctor bhi zara izzat dediya kare usse mana ki woh bhot sweet kuch kehta nahi h but iska ye matlab nahi h aplog usse rudely behave kare dono na bhai bhnn na dekh lena h maine aaplog ko' too which he said 'shauk se dekho tumhara hi hoon'listening him she started blushing n said 'acha ab mein rakhti college ke liye late ho rha'.
Maham was getting ready for work when Hayat came from behind n hugged her on reflex maham slightly pushed her saying 'Hayat you know i hate it when you try to apologise so just don't moreover you should think twice before helping him' too which the latter replied 'maahi don't be so rigid' before she could she speak further 'please never use this endearment again its suffocating' but Hayat dragged her infront of the mirror n sad 'Kabhi khudko aayen mein dekha tumne kitni sang dil ho gayi ho khush rehna toh bhool hi gayi ho sirf har waqt kaam ki padi rehti h Arre life agar ek aur mauka ka de rahi toh kyu khudko itna guilty feel kara rahi ho just remove all the barricades n let happiness enter in your life' listening all this maham sighed n replied 'Hayat tum har lehaaz m mujhse badi ho life ke zyada experiences hai tumhe lekin ye meri life let me live it my way' at last Hayat left saying 'mein bas tumhe khush dekhna chahti hoon tum meri bhnn ho aur bhot ahem ho mere liye thik waise hi jaise rumaisa tumhare liye' after that maham left for bakery but her mind was completely occupied by what Hayat said to her is she really not celebrating her life the answer too which was pretty clear 'maham value your life before it's too late'.
