The living room was thick with tension as the Kim brothers sat in uneasy silence, waiting for the arrival of Kim Jitae. The atmosphere was suffocating, every tick of the clock amplifying the anxiety in the room. Jin and Namjoon had made a difficult decision—they couldn't sacrifice the entire company, but they had to negotiate something.

Jungkook, freshly released from his room, sat with clenched fists, his eyes burning with a mix of anger and desperation. He kept glancing at the door, waiting for the man who had taken Yoongi away from them, his fear barely concealed behind his resolve.

Finally, the heavy sound of footsteps echoed from the hallway, and the door opened to reveal Jitae. He entered the room with an air of confidence, flanked by three armed guards. The brothers instinctively tensed, their eyes narrowing at the sight of him.

Jitae sauntered over to the sofa, casually lowering himself into the seat as if he owned the place. His eyes glinted with amusement as he took in the sight of his cousins, their expressions a mixture of fear, anger, and cautious hope.

Jin cleared his throat, trying to maintain a calm demeanor. "We can't give you the whole share, Jitae. Can't we meet in the middle?"

Jitae's smile widened, a slow, predatory grin that sent a shiver down Jin's spine. "Okay," he said, almost too easily. "Give me 30%. I'll give him back. What do you say?"

The brothers exchanged bewildered glances. This was too easy. They had expected a fight, a drawn-out negotiation filled with threats and counter-threats. Instead, Jitae was offering them what seemed like a fair deal—too fair.

Namjoon, ever the strategist, broke the silence. "Okay. 30% it is. I'm preparing the papers."

Jitae chuckled, standing up with an air of finality. "Oh, I'll come to your office tomorrow with Yoongi. I'll leave now."

Before anyone could respond, Jungkook spoke up, his voice trembling with barely controlled rage. "You better not harm him in any way."

Jitae's smile didn't falter. He simply glanced at Jungkook, the look in his eyes unreadable, before turning and walking out with his guards.

As the door closed behind him, the tension in the room snapped like a taut wire. The brothers were left in stunned silence, unable to shake the feeling that they had just walked into a trap. But the thought of having Yoongi back, of finally ending this nightmare, filled them with a cautious hope.

---The night was quiet in Jitae's private suite, the moonlight filtering through the curtains, casting soft shadows across the room. Yoongi lay nestled against Jitae's chest, his eyes half-closed, a soft hum vibrating from his throat as Jitae's fingers gently combed through his hair.

"You'll have to go back tomorrow, love," Jitae whispered, his voice gentle yet firm.

Yoongi's eyes snapped open, panic flooding his system as he jerked away to look at Jitae.

"What?! No... no, you said you wouldn't leave me! Don't send me back, please!" Tears welled up in his eyes, his body shaking with fear. The thought of being without Jitae, of returning to the brothers who never truly wanted him, was unbearable.

Jitae sighed, a sad smile playing on his lips as he pulled Yoongi back into his embrace. "I promise, I'll come and take you back. Don't worry. This is just temporary."

But the words did little to comfort Yoongi. The night passed in a haze of tears and whispered reassurances, with Jitae holding him close, feeding the desperation that had taken root in Yoongi's heart. By morning, Yoongi was a wreck, his eyes puffy from crying, his body trembling with anxiety.

Jitae dressed him with care, smoothing down the fabric of Yoongi's oversized hoodie before leading him to breakfast. They sat together, Jitae feeding Yoongi as if he were a child, their conversation laced with promises of a future filled with happiness—once this ordeal was over.

When they finally arrived at Jin's office, the tension was palpable. Jin, who had been pacing nervously, rushed forward as soon as he saw Yoongi step into the room. But Yoongi, with a look of sheer terror in his eyes, recoiled, hiding behind Jitae as if he were the only person he could trust.

Jin and Namjoon exchanged worried glances. This wasn't the Yoongi they knew. He looked fragile, broken in a way they hadn't seen before. His posture was different—hunched, as if he were trying to make himself smaller. There was a vulnerability in his eyes that spoke of more than just fear.

Jitae noticed their concern and smiled reassuringly at Yoongi, guiding him to sit on the sofa in the corner. "Just wait here, love. I'll be back in a moment," he whispered, patting Yoongi's hand before turning to Jin and Namjoon.

The paperwork was completed swiftly, the brothers barely able to focus on the documents as their eyes kept darting to Yoongi, who sat trembling on the sofa. After Jitae shook hands with Jin and Namjoon, signaling the end of the transaction, he turned to leave.

But before he could step out of the room, Yoongi bolted from the sofa, running to him. "Don't leave me... please!" he begged, his voice cracking with desperation.

Jitae paused, a calculated look of concern crossing his face. He bent down, pressing a soft kiss to Yoongi's forehead. "I'll be back, love. I promise." And with that, he left, leaving Yoongi standing in the middle of the room, tears streaming down his face.

Jin hesitated, then slowly approached Yoongi. "Yoongi, it's time. Let's go meet the others. They're waiting for you at the mansion."

But Yoongi didn't move. His eyes were distant, his body language screaming vulnerability. Something had changed in him, something deep and unsettling, and it didn't go unnoticed by Jin and Namjoon. The older brothers exchanged another troubled glance, a silent understanding passing between them—they had Yoongi back, but he was far from okay.

As they guided Yoongi out of the office and towards the car, the weight of their decision hung heavy in the air. They had saved the company, but at what cost?
