"We'll continue. Together."

Beatrice woke up with a gentle smile on her lips, ready for another challenging day. Her body was full of energy and joy after the previous evening with Thomas. The memories of their walk through Paris, the glowing Eiffel Tower, and the quiet words they exchanged still warmed her heart. But today, she had a new task ahead of her—a diving competition from the 10-meter platform. It was a challenge she was determined to face with the same resolve that had guided her through all her previous competitions.
As she got up, she felt a mix of tension and excitement. It was that familiar feeling that always accompanied her before a competition, but this time, there was also a sense of calm. She knew she was well-prepared and had faith in her abilities. She quickly changed into her sports gear and headed towards the pool where the competition would take place.
Theresa watched her as Beatrice packed her things. "You look different today," she remarked with a smile. "Like nothing could shake you."
Beatrice turned to her and smiled. "Maybe you're right," she replied. "I feel good. And I'm ready for whatever today brings."
"That's great," Theresa nodded and hugged her for encouragement. "You'll do amazing today, Beatrice. I know you're brilliant."
Beatrice returned the smile and hugged her back. "Thank you, Theresa. Your support means a lot to me."
When she arrived at the pool, the atmosphere was already buzzing with anticipation. Spectators were gathering in the stands, coaches were giving final instructions to their athletes, and the competitors were preparing for their performances. Beatrice felt the adrenaline starting to rise, but instead of letting nerves take over, she used it to fuel her determination.
As she approached the diving platform, she paused for a moment and looked up at the tall tower. It was a monumental structure that required maximum concentration and courage. Beatrice took a deep breath, focused her mind on the upcoming challenge, and mentally rehearsed her routine. Every movement needed to be meticulously planned to deliver her best performance.
When she reached the top of the tower, she turned and scanned the crowd. She searched for a familiar face among the spectators, and then she saw him. Thomas was sitting in the third row, his eyes fixed on her. As soon as their gazes met, Thomas gave her an encouraging smile and a thumbs-up, signaling his support.
Beatrice felt a wave of gratitude and calm. It was reassuring to know that someone was there, someone who believed in her and was cheering for her. Her heart fluttered with nervous excitement, but at the same time, she felt stronger and more confident. Thomas's smile reminded her why she was there—to show the world what she was capable of.
As she stood at the edge of the platform, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. All her thoughts condensed into a single point—the moment when she would leap and soar through the air. She was ready. Everything she had trained for, everything she had experienced, had led her to this moment.
