choi soojin is looking at herself in the mirror. she is quite nervous. she is meeting someone she has never seen before, someone she has a little information about. it's funny to her how they even became friends at the first place. thinking about their first impression makes a smile on her face which quickly changes as her phone beeps, notifying her someone has sent her a text. who else could it be?

oh shoot. he's already here.
she hurries towards their main gate of the house. "i'm leaving!" the girl shouts before opening the gate and stepping outside.
there stands a car. honestly, a familiar car. but nevertheless she waves at the car informing the male inside the car that she's here. she's her. even though she couldn't see him from inside.
but for some reason, he never gets out of the car which she was hoping for. her phone rings as she looks at the caller id.
why is he calling me?
however, she picks up the call.
"hello?" she speaks first.
"hey, soo." he answers.
voice reveal first? his voice is eerily familar.
"what's up?" she was still wondering what happened. being an overthinker she couldn't help but think so many things.
"can you get inside the car?"
"what?"
"just come closer. let's be quick," with all honesty, he was a little anxious. it was still a risk to him, one step wrong and so many rumours. just as much he wanted to get out of the car and open the door for her, he didn't know how safe it would have been.
"is everything okay?"
"uh yeah. well, nevermind."
debating with himself for a couple of minutes, he finally gave up on his thoughts as he comes out of the car.
and she sees him. and to say it's the first time they met would be lie yet it was still a first time, a first impression. so many realizations hitting her as she stands still, eyes widening.
why am i hallucinating all of a sudden?
she panicked. she panicked thinking it was a hallucination.
am i sick?
on the other hand, jake waves at her. "hey, soo!"
when he notices her freezing at the spot, he walks towards her. "hey!" he moves his hands infront of her eyes to check if she's zoning out or not. she suddenly flinches before coming back to her senses.
"it's me, jake. i'm the spam texter," he grins.
