2.

It's been a couple of months since I've been with Tony. My health took quite a bit longer than expected before I was back to normal. But now I can use my powers again without having to take a 3 hour nap after.

Tony also helped me train my powers more, trying to explore what I can do. And to be honest, I can do a lot more than I even thought.

"Tony!!" I yell waking him up because he fell asleep while we were trying to hack Ross to find where my necklace would be.
"What? What? Alien attack? Panic attack? Heart attack?" He asks super quickly
"None actually. I did it! I hacked into them!" I yell excitedly
"Really? Well I'll be damned" he says shocked
"It took hours, I had to break through like 5 shields they have up, but after that it was pretty simple stuff. You fell asleep right as I started" I explain to him
"Wait what time is it? How long was I asleep? You should've woken me up" he tells me
"Come on ton. You barely sleep as it is, I wasn't going to wake you up when you were finally sleeping. And it's 7:34am, you slept approximately.... 14 hours" I smile looking at my watch

"You're telling me while I slept, you hacked into their systems for 14 hours?" He asks me
"Yep" I smile popping the p
"Tia-" he starts to say
"Nope nope I don't wanna hear it. I'll sleep later i promise. But for now, we're finding my necklace" I tell him
"Fine" he pouts

After searching through some flies we finally found it. Sector 5, drawer 16, file 7.
"Alright so I go in, you can turn off the cameras-" I start to explain
"Absolutely not. I'm going in, if you get caught in there you're getting put back in a cell. So I'm going in, you stay here and we'll talk through comms. You can hack into the cameras and do all that shit, plus you're better than me on hacking" he tells me
"First off fine, you go I'll stay. Second, did you just say in better at something than you? Cause that's rare rare, like blue moon rare, like-" I start to list
"Great now I wanna take it back-" he groans
"Nope no take backs, I appreciate the compliment. Now go get ready you're leaving like now" I laugh
"Fine fine I'm going" he laughs as he walks off

I watch him walk over as a smile forms. I've gotten very close with Tony these last few months. And I mean very close. He's the first person I really opened up with, now yeah I still hide a few things. But he knows more about me than anyone at this point. Besides Bucky, I mean come on he was there with me when it happened.

I got to meet Peter, he's a great kid like Tony said. Very kind soul and he tries his best to impress both Tony and I. Not sure why me though, I've only known him for a few months.

Tony and I also have gotten to the friendship of Nick names, and that was a very long talk.
I tried to call him "fe-man" since you know iron and fe- whatever but he did not like that. Then I tried to do "stank" he hated it, I call him it from time to time but he gives me the death glare if I do.

Then Tony tried to call me "oct" now listen it wasn't bad, but really he could do better. Then he really tried to call me "firegirl" like really Tony. Just no.

But eventually we settled for a couple nicknames.

Mine for him are ton, tin man, richy rich, and  occasionally stank.

His for me were Tia, via, O, and a random Bird in there too. Cause he said my code name should be Phoenix and it's a bird, get it.

Anyhoo back to the real story, finding my necklace. It may not seem like the biggest deal to anyone, but Tony never second guessed it. He didn't even ask questions unless he knew I was ready to say something about it.

The worst part of this all, was I could feel myself falling for him. And I can't let that happen. Everyone I love always leaves, they never stay. And I don't think I could live with myself if he left.

So i pushed those emotions deep down. Hoping they wouldn't come up again.

Little did i know that tony had the same exact thoughts.

"Alright O where am I heading?" Tony asks me through comms as he walks through the building
"Go to the elevator, 10th floor. I'll shut off the cameras once you get to there" I tell him
"Where do I go next?" He asks as he goes up the floors
"Go right, room number is 123. Should be a few doors down" I tell him
As he starts to walk up to the door so I shut the cameras off

"Alright tin man we got exactly 5 minutes before they realize, and exactly 6 before than send guards up, so about 7 minutes before you get arrested if you don't get out of there." He tell him
"Thanks for letting me know" he mumbles

After about 3 minutes he speaks up.
"Found it! Making my way to the elevator now" he says
I watch as he gets to the elevator and once he's in I turn the cameras back on.
"Who knew a tin man could be quick" I smirk
"Who knew a bird could be quite for so long" he shoots back
"Whatever just get out of there and get back" I tell him
"Missing me already" he smirks
"Missing my necklace that's been gone for months" I answer
"Fair enough" he mumbles as he exits the building. The guards and workers not even knowing we broke in and stole it back.

Tony walks in and I go running at him,
"Well m'lady, here is thy necklace" he says with an accent giving it to me
I grab it in my hands before smiling.
"Thank you Tony!!" I yell as I throw my arms around him. He hugs me back and we stay like that for a while.

Then I let go
"Can you put it on?" I ask
"Yeah turn around" he tells me and I do as he says. He puts it on and I smile at the feeling of it back. I turn back to look at him
"You look beautiful" he smiles
"Thank you Tony, for everything really" I smile back
"Hm well I'm going to go cook dinner! Or order it one of the two" he laughs awkwardly before walking off
"Yeah you do that" I laugh

"God what are you doing to me Tony stark" I mumble as I watch him walk off a smile on my face

But his pov wasn't so different.

"God what are you doing to me Octavia Gray" he says under his breath just quiet enough where I couldn't hear.
