The cost of living is going up
Yet my wages stay the same
They say that I'm the problem
But who's to really blame?
You let others import goods
To make up for your debts
And let them charge us millions
While you profit off our stress

For basic necessities
Providing funds and guns for wars
Out in the Middle East
Saying that your helping
While oil prices increase
You gotta work to get to work
And scrape up enough to eat
Or else youll be thrown away
Like a rotton piece of meat

Paycheck to paycheck
Somethings got to give
They're sitting on there ass
While we're struggling to live
War means more money
And money equals time
Time that we are forced to give
To the factory line
